Alright fellas, been waiting on this day for a long time, read in the paper this morning that they're gonna open up all the lanes starting today thru January. This is great news for us mongers who like to drive to the good mps. I just checked the waits right now at 11am and they said there were only 4 lanes open though, I'm gonna check back in a few hours, don't know if I'll drive today but for sure tomorrow if there's open lanes.

Sure some countries sound great for our lifestyle, but I got no problems being less than 20 mins away from a great time. It's different for vistors, knowing the ropes, where to go, directions and all that bs. But if you are local which I am, I'm happy to live in a city where I have many UTR's to call, close SC's that cater to me and a huge world of sex just 20 mins away across a bridge. I don't mind drving at all, never been hassled at all during the day, it's just too easy and I don't drive a POS, I drive a pretty badass ride that I put some money into. For you locals that are nervous about driving during the day, don't be, it's not a big deal, I used to cross all the time just for the good food and the mercado and still have yet to find any trouble.
I'm sure Costa Rica and Colombia are great, if you feel like spending a lot of dough just for a plane ticket and a hotel, I'd rather monger close to home where I no there's no problems and there's no way for me to get in trouble or for the biggest reason, I can spend as little as $30 on a really good time with a good looking chica. And that's another thing, (sorry), sure I've spent $$$ on girls on this side of the border with fantistic bodies and great abilities, but I'm a man of variety, I'd rather have 8-10 girls in two weeks than one for one hour.
But that's just me.

Problem is its 5 dollars for a beer and 10 dollars for a beer for the girl, so you can run trough your money really fast. You can take them private for a dance but they don't do much. My recommendation would be to go in have a beer or not and scope out a girl you like, take her to the room they have or pay exit fee and take her out of the club. No info on pricing. But when we have talked to girls before they have agreed to between 60 and 100 with a little bargaining.
Alternatively if you want a spot to have a few beers and check out some young talent go by there. However, for what they charge it is much better to go to either of the Jokers locations or the Amadeus strip clubs. Much higher quality girls for table dances. If you want to take the Amadeus or Joker girls to the room you have to pay the bar fine and come up with $$+

Silly boy! Do them both! Juarez & TJ are very different. We lack "The Alley" that TJ enjoys, for one thing. Try them both. I know I prefer Juarez over TJ. Hell, I mongered a bit in SoCal and TJ was of course on the menu but I've also mongered quite a bit in Las Vegas while I lived there. I like Juarez - it reminds me of the old days in the South Bronx
Believe it or not - Juarez was one of the main reasons why I moved to Las Cruces. Vegas morphing into "L.A. East" was another...

I don't agree with that. He is coming from east coast, that's a long flight to just hit Juarez. Especially if flights to TJ are cheaper.
I agree that Juarez is a good destination, shit I lived in Albuquerque for 40+ years, made dozens of Juarez visits, if you live close it's great.
However, for a long distance flight, I was only suggesting alternative places.
If I lived equal distance from Juarez, Nuevo Laredo, TJ or Cuidad Acuña, I would hit Nuevo Laredo tomorrow, and Reynosa next weekend. But that's just me, everyone has personal reasons and favorites.

I'm sure we all can remember when we realized that our passion / obsession for prostitutes was more than a casual affair. And for some of us, I'm sure we can remember the reasons why we relocated to various parts of the world to pursue this lifestyle full-time. I'm planning a trip to Juarez for next Monday. I just wanted to ask the other members of the forum what is the best MP to hit up as far as quality of women, money is not a restriction. Also, I wanted to know if Pink Ladies was open during the day and what is the going rate if you drive yourself over as opposed to the cabbies taking you? Thanks again to everyone in advance.

i had mongered in tj for more than 6 years and almost a year in juarez. i have also mongered all over mexico and other continents in the world... but here is what i see, anyone cares to add to the comparsion:
prices:
juarez:
$30-60/hr at mps depending on which one you go to. cheaper with sws
tj:
prices: $40-60 for half an hour at the bars depending on day/time/which bar and your bargaining skill, plus hotel room (about $13 half an hour)
locations:
juarez:
rep001tered all over the city (as in most mexican cities)
tj:
centralized. most bars are along coahuila (a street name) and the callejon (alley, where the sgs are).
quality:
juarez:
girls are anywhere from 2-8 (note that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder). from what i have seen, there are very few that are over 8...
tj:
girls are anywhere from 2-9 as well but there are a lot more higher tier girls.... go to adelitas/chicago and you'll see.
services (this could be subjective):
juarez:
girls are friendlier, more into sex rather than mechanical sex. more likely to score gfe especially if you speak spanish.
tj:
more mechanical, standard service. gef is easier to find in smaller bars such as las chavelas, la tropa, tropical but you have to be well-versed in spanish..
traffic:
juarez:
traffic is very light at night... even at the worst the wait is usually an hour to an hour and a half.
tj:
heavy traffic crossing the border all the time... minimum an hour wait... sometimes 2 or 3 hours during holidays.
safety:
juarez:
relatively safe with ocassional hassles from the cops
tj:
relatively safe but the cops are notoriously for stopping and searching tourists and in many cases... the cops robs the tourists' money.

Most MPs are hit or miss, one can be great one day and not so good the next.
Genesis is usually my first stop.
I think PL opens at 11:00am, not positive but I believe they do. Going rate depends on the girl and your negotiating ability. Less than if you go w/o cabbie in tow. Expect to pay $60 and up.

BTW, the wait times on the downtown bridge may be OK for a few days, but not for long. When the rest of Juarez wakes up, and the northbound tourists from the interior arrive for the holidays, the downtown bridge will have its normal, long, painful waits.
Finally, if any of you local mongers have ever investigated or wondered about the "DCL," Dedicated Commuter Lanes for faster bridge times back to the U.S., don't. After one gets a PortPass, and to get that one needs a life without one blemish or black mark, Mexico will require over $300 per car to use its side of the bridge. The current goal of the DCL is to get as many people OFF its lanes as possible, regardless of what recent newspaper articles say. The inspectors are far more rigid with people who use the DCL and will remove you for any little thing, like an apple, you forget your insurance papers, your registration expires, etc. It's hardly worth the hassle.

Much more a 'friendlier' attitude in Juarez and less of a zombied look in their eyes as well.
As far as Policia - they seem to be stopping more and more as of late but with the new Mayor, it seems they try to impress a "We're good guys" attitude during the stop. Maybe it just me but that's how it felt lately. In TJ, it always felt like the Cartels were a bit more entrenched.
