Thanks for the advice. As mentioned in the post, I had already left, been through Bangkok, and was on my way to Pattaya.

Certainly, but that is one reason I made several references to my preferences and priorities. You are clearly into GFE. You raved about it in a previous post. I am not. If, God forbid, there are others out there like me, what you find useless could save them from being choked by bands of marauding girls like Koreans.

The 2 pieces of white toast, one egg and potatoes that you had at Philly's for 110 P will be about the same price in Margarita Station. Could be a little more or less. Throw in a cup of coffee for 37 P and a little tip for the waitress and you're looking at 170 P approximately. OK, let's round it up to 200 P for breakfast.

Now let me see, 20 USD is about 900 P these days. So you'll have 700 P left after breakfast.
You say you will eat some quick noodles some days for lunch and then you want to have a decent dinner. I don't know exactly what you mean with 'quick noodles' (from the 7/11? From a street stall? A simple cheap meal at a restaurant?) but let's say you spent another 200 P on that, including one drink.

Then you have 500 P left for dinner. You want a decent dinner so I suggest you go to Swiss Chalet. You can have a good meal there for about 400 to 500 P, including one drink.
Another option is the restaurant of the Pacific Breeze hotel. Also quite decent food for reasonable prices.

If you want to have a decent lunch AND dinner then I'm afraid 20 USD a day is not enough. Unless you wander to more remote locations maybe but I have no experience with that.

Getting veggies in the Phils is indeed a problem. Swiss Chalet has a salad bar (so far I never got sick from it) and they have a Thai fried rice dish with lots of veggies for example.
Most of the time if you order a dish with vegetables you get canned vegetables and not that much. I try to compensate by eating fruit and drinking fruit juices.

By the way, a few nights ago I had two of my regulars visiting me. After our session they were hungry and they asked for 100 P to get some food. They said they only had some coins left in their pockets, yeah right LOL!
They went out and came back about half an hour later with 2 rice meals for them (rice, some kind of sausages, maybe a little bit vegetables) and 2 pieces of bread plus 2 pieces of rice cake for me that they picked up at a bakery. I didn't ask for it but that doesn't matter.
They said they bought the rice meals somewhere near Margarita Station, a 10 minute walk from my hotel.

I haven't asked it but I presume they didn't spend more than those 100 P I gave them.
So it can be dirt cheap but I wouldn't recommend it. I doubt that it was good quality food.

Interesting. Recently I did something vaguely similar. It's winter here in X land, so summer clothes get packed away. I put some of my Philippine kit (summer clothes) into the suitcase since I knew that I'll be in the islands before it gets warm in X land.

Usually I rely on lists. What to take, hotel info, "little black book information", etc. I'm thinking this should be in the General info thread.

To be economical, I will some times by one of the rotisserie chickens they cook on fields.

A whole chicken is 170 p, I have eaten them on every trip and never have been sick.

Some complain, if you get one from the side of the road on MacArthur Hwy some times they have dust / debris that is kicked up.

The one on fields (walking street) has a plastic shield to protect against the dust / debris so I tend to go there.

You can then stop at any local's canteen and buy an order of cooked rice - 10 p. This is one thing they know how to cook well.

Often I order a veggie dish from certain canteens. Those which I know have a high local turnover and the food is basically cook to order.

The little local canteen around the corner from Sky Traxx cooks chop suey for 50 p. And some on fields that have high BG traffic.

The chicken serves two meals (lunch + dinner) or feeding you and guest.

So chicken 170 p + (2 rice at 10 p) 20 p + (2 veggie dishes at 50 p) 100 p. Total under 300 p for 2 meals.

This is especially great when hosting pinay's. Its like comfort food for them.

The other option I find for reasonable prices is Korean resto's. Oppa on Fields gives a lot of food for the price.

In Korean style they bring several small dishes of various veggies / potatoes before the main entree making for a filling meal.

I see many BG's eating there (paying, not on date), so that can give you an idea of the price level.

I was afraid that these sites were very much "Social" and you had to sort of tiptoe around the elephant in the room. Disclaimer: I've never actually done an elephant. But the WeChat thing could work. The big rub is that I assume that by chat you really mean use the keyboard. Not my strongest point, especially if one hand is kind of busy. Must learn discipline or get a voice recognition program.

I saw the Mall, everyday in AC. I look out my hotel window, there it is, I walk down the street, there it is, never went there. I keep hearing that it might be a decent place to meet some lovelies. Please expand with your thoughts. I never tried to meet anyone on the street although there were many flirtling eyes. I only had 2 full days on the ground. So, I concentrated on the Bars. 7 days on the ground this time, I may experiment a little more. I want o try Blow road, but I worry about STD more from them although I know I can catch them anywhere. Also I like to get my walking in without the chuckholes and pollution of Fields Avenue. The scenery is pretty dang good, especially on the weekends. Seems like on the weekdays you see the old fat men walking around with their young slim things in their 6" stilettos. Not so much on the weekends when most families are there. On the weekends there are plenty of civilian eye candy walking around. But I doubt if they are in the game. I have yet to see someone pick up on a civilian or sales clerk. A younger blue eyed person might have a chance if the girl thought it was for a long term relationship.

On my first trip there 2 years ago I did catch the eye of a 19 yo walking around the mall. She was nervous to talk to me in front of the crowd so she gave me her cell number. We texted each other while we were in the mall. Later on she came to my hotel room. She was beautiful but inexperienced laying there. She got wetter than hell as I was grinding her while she was stifling her moans. It got to be a game for me to see if I could get her to moan out loud as she laid there taking it, but she never did. I sent her home after that. Can't remember how much. But I have never seen any FL around the mall and that was the only time I have ever picked up a girl there.

They were nothing to write home about though. But apart from those two I've never seen FL's walking around there.

I've been there a couple of times last year and this year because I needed new sandals and some new clothes. Some of the sales ladies were definitely interested in me.
"Are you married?" or "Where is your wife?" Questions like that.
I think I could have gotten a few phone numbers but I didn't really feel at ease to flirt with these girls with all the other customers around.

But I think if you like shopping and you're not too shy it's fairly easy to score there.
