Sosua Reports

New Garden is within 5 minutes walking distance of the main action strip and about 10 minutes from the beach. It does have a pretty decent pool, the room safe, fan and AC, and Wi Fi.

While I would characterize the atmospherics of the place as "lively" and a welcome relief from my staid, suburban existence is sex prison, I've heard others complain that the clientele can get too loud at times.

Though it's quiet out there on the east edge of town. You should look at Sosua on google earth or similar and understand the layout, it's not hard to get familiar with. New Garden is short walk from the main nighttime action on Pedro Clisante and about a 10 minute stroll from either the main beach with all the businesses or the new beach.

You can find places cheaper than newgarden that will suit your needs, like Rocky's or others. The main question is do you want the ambiance of a mongering hotel.

The closest to it would be Sosua Bay (Topacio Azul) which is pretty worn-down these days, and Casa Cayena. Casa Cayena IMO is a good choice as it's about 50 yards from the new beach (Playa Alicia). Like New Garden, it hosts almost all mongers and can get a bit rowdy at times.

For a quieter place that is still very close to the action, Casa Valeria might be a good choice.

Studio start at 100 / night up to 3 bedrooms. All have washer dryer full kitchen utensils, wifi, tons of towls, etc

Does anyone happen to know the arrangement that chicas have with the house at Passions? The price always suggested a basic split 1500 for the chica. 1000 for the club with similar for other menu items but no idea if that's correct.

Things are bigger, most varieties, faster pace and cheaper except for hotel rooms when comparing Sosua to Boca Chica. Sosua will always get a few days from me. I just can't do it all week. My appetite too strong- money not that long.

Had I known the area was muy mountainous, I wouldn't have never agreed. We put a working on that Hyundai. Those uphill mountain slopes were narrow and a little dangerous. Dominicans called the whole area Samana. As we rolled around the area we didn't see anything worth stopping for. Nice area if you had a special chica or Novia with you.
