There's girls on the Malecon that the Bar overlooks but generally the spot where you can see them is kind of a family spot at least it was during COVID. However the little park across the street usually has girls sitting around. They are non aggressive. But they will say Hello, (in English) and you can buy them a Presidente at the colmado (a store) across the street from that. Foxy's and Oasis aren't far away and on the street facing the hotel you have touts / cab drivers who will shove flyers for the place in your hands.

On this trip I stayed at RIG Casa Conde on calle el conde. Mystik was closed. The locals say it was sold to villar hermanos.

Good to see hotels on el conde open up again. Got a balcony view to see the lively hustle of el conde. Casa Conde is easy peasy to bring chicas to the room. The stairs to the rooms aren't near reception.

In my opinion, if you take an unknown chica better to have them check cedula at the front desk. Room rates are reasonable $40 to $50. The bathrooms are small. The wifi sucks big time. I went to the Claro store to buy my own portable wifi with 100 Gb of data. The SIM for iPhone didn't work how I wanted. The portable wifi was the Best investment for me to stay on the internet anywhere and hook up via wassap to chicas. It's small enough, to carry the wifi device in my back pants pocket.

All the stores are close by for supplies. I carried a paper copy of the vaccine record. The supermercado, bars, the restaurant didn't ask to see it this trip. A few months back the supermarket had some guy checking. Always fun hanging out out Pacos / Grande with the fellas. The freaks come out at night. Another visit to GBP. My favorite room is the large one with a barbershop chair. It's been there a while. The chair has an ass crack in the center of the seat. Don't sit there nude. Might get cooties. The bare floor was better caused I sent the chicas to mop the floor occasionally. I never take off my shoes in that place.

Given the state of the world, I'm considering making my first trip to the DR. Upon reading this forum and others, it appears I've been rather privileged and spoiled in my mongering travels. As most know, little to no effort needs to be made to achieve my desires in the land of smiles and the like. I am considering a trip to Santo Domingo for 4-5 nights, prices are cheap and the six hours of air travel feels more manageable than the 24 hours of flights. The land of smile's is implementing their test-and-go again for BKK, and of course, there is the Sandbox program for the beach cities. But, something about your all's stories is pulling me to the DR. And it's shorter air travel time.

I should disclose, and feel these two facets about myself may be the nail in the coffin for not hitting the DR / Colo / PR: I have no grasp of the Spanish language, and I also don't drink (I'm a friend of Bill W.). I generally spend my time in SEA leisurely sightseeing, shopping, enjoying massage shops, GFE experiences, hitting gentlemen's clubs. And in some SEA cities hitting the casinos.

During your travels to the DR, is the day sightseeing worth it? Interesting stuff to see / do, tours etc?

It seems the mongering culture of northern DR is based in alcohol, is this the same for SD?

I've been playing with DominicanCupid, checking out escort sites- there seems to be a decent amount of women who speak a basic level of English. There are museums that I have been to but nothing on par with the USA. You don't have to get drink or go to bars to get laid in the DR. GFE via Dominican Cupid is likely. That's how I built my harem. Except for a couple of referrals but don't ask for my contacts. There are strip clubs, casas, massage places but I don't recommend them for GFE. To each his own. I heard GBP is OK but have never been there. I don't gamble so I don't know about casinos. Sometimes you just get lucky walking down Calle Conde in the Colonial Zone. There are regular girls just shopping or going to work and also some hookers. Also a lot of tourists including Venezolas which I have had some luck with. I been to DR 17 times in 7 years. Mostly Santo Domingo but also Juan Dolio beach (2 hours east from SD), Santiago (2 hours north from SD), Sosua (5 hours north from SD) and Cabarete (6 hours north from SD). Oh also Samana once (4 hours northeast of SD). Beaches are great there. Bus is cheap. I speak very little Spanish and it helps to learn. Hopefully you will get some input from other guys. Good luck.
