Yes get a room at Cascadas and take trolley to save time and money
Just got back from my second Tijuana visit. Drove down yesterday around 3 pm, horrible idea. Sat in traffic for 3 hours trying to get to the border.
Got a cab down to HK for 100 pesos.
. I am still wondering on a place where you can sit in peace with a drink and chill without being talked to, maybe I should get a hotel room? Idk..
Take the trolley from one of the stations that has a parking lot. You can park for free for 24 hrs and you avoid the 3 HR wait in traffic.
You can take HK Limo to / from border w just tips to driver. Much nicer, and safer, than a standard taxi.
If you are doing two HK gals you are already spending almost as much a regular room. So you might as well get a room where you can relax. And you can experiment with a nice street gal too.
Repeat from last raid of July 14
Raid! HK was raided Saturday night by cops with SWAT looking guys acting as security in the front carrying M4 a1's. Odd that they were wearing ski masks to protect their identity and wearing tacticool gear. I was expecting an exciting take down of a dangerous Narco.
But it turned out that they were doing a surprise check for underaged girls. At least that was what I was told when I asked a couple of waiters. That is a lot of firepower to check IDs so you can come to your own conclusions to was why cops were making a visit to HK on a Saturday night since Sunday is their traditional bust day.
I was there during July raid. About 20 police cars & national guard troops. Tactical gear. I decided to go upstairs to avoid them. I doubt they will tell anyone their real reasons for the visits. The cartels visit hktj all the time. Be careful.
Policias' excuses for raids
Policias may have used the check underaged putas and health card as excuses, but with that much muscles and fire power, they were more likely looking for cartels guys, expecting a gun fight if a few were found. Fully armed troops have been patrolling La Zona for years. Have not heard if they arrested any bad guys.
One night I was sitting at the bar in HK next to a nice, clean young guy. Later on I found out he was Ovidio de Guzman. He was sitting motionlessly, high on something; his eyes were fixated on the stage whether there were naked strippers on it or not. I was scanning the club. He did not have any body guards with him that night.
I was in Las Pulgas one night. People were dancing like crazy when the music stopped and all lights went on. Polciias were checking everyone's paper but they left us alone. They hand cuffed a couple guys on that dance floor.
