Sosua Reports

This past May, I stayed at Mary Rose condos. That is way on the east side of town (Sosua ). I met a guy that lives across the street from Mary Rose. A few times I stopped by to talk to him. He has a nice view of the street and the courtyard of Mary Rose. From his balcony he can see everything walking or driving by. Well anyway, he pointed out several chicas who were casually walking by or on a moto who worked at Passions. They were totally dressed down and no makeup. They looked nothing like the scantily clad vixens in stilletos you see all up in Passions. Moreover, he pointed out several buildings where a lot of chicas rent rooms or apts. So they can stay in Sosua to "work" instead of traveling back and forth. You can call these chicas from their balconies or windows and they will be happy to spend a little time with you. This dude lives there so it was nothing to have different local chicas come to his apt to service him. Some even came around to cook and hang out with him because they had nothing better to do with their time. Has anyone stayed here or have any information on this place? And how far is it from the clubs. On Google earth it looks pretty close. Appreciate the help fellas.

But the room was all messed up. Cracked paint, water stains all over the cieling and walls, sink in bathroom always getting clogged etc. Rooms are fairly big though and it is clean as in no visible leaks, no bugs, dirt etc. Nice pool and resturant but for the money you can get a place on calle rosen that is much better. Plus its like a 1/4 mile from the main strip. Not a bad walk but a little annoying from time to time. Only reason I stayed there is because it was during 2012 superbowl and ng lost my reservation and it was all I could find in such a short time for the bussiest time of the year down there.

My room was spacious and the AC and hot water were good. The hotel is definitely chica friendly. Colibri is close Pasions and CMP, but father away from the beach as well as D'Latin and Rumba, which are the two most popular places for freelancers and hanging out and where most of the action is. If you are in Colibri, you might get tired of walking back and forth to the main part of the strip. If you have a rental car or moped, you would be OK or you could use motobike taxies back and forth.

If you are new to Sosua, you might want to pick a hotel that is closer to D'Latin like New Garden, Terra Linda, Casa Cayena, Sea Breeze, El Rancho, etc. so you can walk to the action and not have to rely on anyone else to get you to and from the hotel when you have a chica or don't feel like walking. If you are looking for more of the frat boy atmosphere, staying at one of these hotels, closer to the strip, would also provide that, as most mongers seem to stay a very, very short walk from the action.
