That sounds like a great idea. But I would get girls that were sort of your "friends" / regular providers with a good personality. And in reality, I think you only can bring 1 girl to the party, not like in a ktv, where it is the norm to pick 2 or more girsl to party with. In a ktv, they are working and most likely know each other, so they feel comfortable partying and being frisky. In a suite, it may be a different story, but very much possible.

I think the Lucky might have the suite you are looking for, and for cheap. Ask Wadman, he's a Lucky expert.

True. Friday and Saturday is big business for the girls (KTV, BBS, and sauna). On average, their earnings are much better on those 2 days, than any other day the rest of the week. So, if possible at all, the girls will show up for work resulting in better line-ups.

However, there are other reasons why I hate CP on Fridays/Saturday:
- there are more girls, but also A LOT more guys (mainly HongKong guys). Overall, this results in a lower girls-guys ratio.
- BBS girls have less time and motivation for you. Unless it's late in the day (night), most will try to do as many quick ST's as possible, and then maybe try for a LT at the end. Better strategy to earn more money for the girl that way. On weekdays, the girl is much more likely to do a better job, in the hope of a LT
- Most hotels have a Friday/Saturday surcharge, usually an extra 10-15%
- Things are not that busy anymore, but before the economic downturn everything is just busy-busy-busy on weekends. Restaurants (wait for a table), foot massage (wait for a room, your favourite girl may be busy), saunas (crappy lineup, cause not many available girls). And if you threathen to walk away and take your business elsewhere, they may not even care, there are customers lined up anyway. If you go on a weekday, you feel like the king.
- hotel room and KTV room reservations don't mean that much. Even if you have a reservation, if you don't show up until late, they may give your room away. Again, this is less likely now due to poor economy.
- your favourite hotel may be full, no more room. Or no more standard rooms, if you want to stay there they will sell you a more expensive room
- and the list goes on and on...

The logic goes something like this:
- the supply of girls increases a bit
- supply of hotel, ktv, massage rooms stay the same
- supply of massage girls stay the same
- demand goes up a lot cause there are more guys
Result: advantage shifts to seller.

Here is an update on the BBS situation. On sunday, SEA Joe, TickTock, me, and some non-ISG guys did the rounds around 4 PM:
- Baby's shop: 5 girls
- 2nd floor shop, around the corner from Baby's: 10 girls
- Swanlake BBS/KTV: 10 girls
- Lily's shop (Where Jojo used to work): 10 girls
- shops that used to be the "Banyan tree shops": 10 girls
- the snooker/silver star BBS: 15 girls
- shop beside snooker shop: 5 girls

Overalls really slim pickings. Night market numbers were really down too, although admittedly we didn't get there until 3:15 in the morning.

if you know the sauna manager a bit (have given her business), you should be able to rent just the sauna room. Try not to do it on Friday or Saturday for obvious reasons. MiQi at HuiHua sauna will probably do it for you. There was this one night (Saturday) when I liked my KTV girl but couldn't get a room anywhere in CP. Called up MiQi and she got me a sauna room.

The KTV girl played innocent and pretended not to know what the sauna room equipment was for. Asked me what the stool with hole in the middle and the medicine ball were used for. I offered to teach her. That's when she dropped her pretenses and declined.

Actually, I haven't stayed at the Lucky in a long time now. Their superior rooms used be 178 rmb, they then upped it to 218 rmb. Don't know if they have reduced it due to crappy economy. But at 218 rmb it's overpriced (how price sensitive am I?).

Miraton is the first hotel to come to their senses, they have a promotion going on: 268 for lower level rooms, 288 for upper level rooms. No surcharge on weekends. Until March 31. Miraton used to charge 338/358 for weekday/weekend.

Many of us used to stay at the Miraton until they started raising rates. Part of the demand may have been from this forum. 268 is the rate we used to pay when the hotel first opened.

As far as location is concerned, the Miraton, Hui Mei, Virgin, Hui Hua, etc. are better. They are more centrally located with more eating, drinking and shopping options within walking distance. But, in terms of value for money and easy access to BBS, Swan Lake, Clipper, etc. are better. Depends on what is more importatant.

I reckon all hotel rates are currently negotiable. I even have hotel managers calling me asking when I am back in town. Business must be pretty bad at the moment.

So many hard decisions to make in CP, like what hotel, what ktv tonight, , what to drink (beer, wine, or hards), what to do during the day, should I save my pop for later, and most imprortantly the most stressful decision of all, is what freaking girl should I take. I call it... "the CP dilemma" ;)

But I do like the location of Miraton, HH, HM, etc, but near the SL bbs , hotels are newer and cheaper. A couple of times we just split our CP time in both places. Checking in and out of hotels is fairly easy. But I'm kind of leaning towards the SL BBS side of town, I like newer and cheaper, because CP is so small, location is not that big of a deal.

NEVER I repeat NEVER trust these damn KTV operators - Especially at the Fuhao/Plutocrat. Problem arose becoz by the time we got there, things were already settled and we though that whoever arranged it in the first place had properly arranged everything. And of course that is not correct. 8 of us and it came to RMB 4,381 - bunch of thieves!!

Repeat either never go to Fuhao or if you still need to go, watch them like a hawk

Anyone knows if the goodview KTV at zmt is still in action? Haven; t heard anything here on that joint for ages. Am looking for another trip up soon but seeing how much more rowdy CP has gotten, tot I'd stay in some other area.

Hi all. I had been to dongguan around a year back and stayed at the winnerway hotel. They had an in house sauna which had a cracking lineup and I chose from the model category (tall ones) for 600rmb. It was the best rmb spent till date for 2 hrs. There was everything offered (FS) including a hot and cold BBBJ.

I am planning now to go to SZ and was wondering if similar offerings are possible there? Is it practical to stay in dongguan and travel to SZ everyday, considering my Chinese speaking skills are zilch?

I have read the SZ board and all it seems is that there are some places with HJ offering. After being spoilt in dongguan and CP, I think you guys know what I am looking for.

Help is appreciated.

Another night, another experience. A much better one than the session at the Plutocrat/Fuaho. We were a total of 14 guys at the Peninsula with quite a few of us accompanied by 2 gals in a huge room (admittedly, not as large as the Fuhao room with the attached bedroom, full bathroom, extra toilet and Mahjong room) but LARGE and the bill came to RMB 3,998. approx 10% cheaper for 75% more guys! And a much better selection of gals than the Fuhao.

The difference is that we gave the DJ her "marching orders" on what we expected - No assorted mommies and Mgrs coming in to drink our beer, must have 1 guy sign off on ALL orders, advise when minimum charge reached and timely appraisals of bill amount reached, no half full glasses cleared, what we can expect as "freebies" i.e. what snacks, how many dozen beers ON TOP of the Buy 2 Get 1 free, no Dolls, pop corn, snacks, cigar/cigarette, candy, flowers etc "sales gals" allowed into room etc (these Sales gals comes into the room and the KTV gals always plaintively ask her guy to buy her one thing or another and it becomes a free for all - with the bill quickly piling up! And I'm pretty sure that if you're a sucker enough to buy one of those over-priced stuffed dolls, the gal would just turn around and sell it back to the KTV)

And we had a great DJ who not only did exactly as we requested, but was also very attentive the whole night, is a good singer, PLUS was always on the look-out for her guests i.e. One of us guys had an issue with a mommie and ordered her to drink 8 bottles of beer "to make amends/give face" (Pretty silly I say!!). Our DJ right away informed us and we right away put a stop to that nonsense. What - have her drink 8 bottles at approx RMB25@ = RMB 200 total? To achieve WHAT??!!

First - which part of Dongguan are you wanting to stay at? I'm not familiar with Winnerway Hotel - where is it/which exact town in Dongguan?

If you are thinking about staying in CP (Chang ping) then it would be very easy for you to get to Shenzhen daily. The GZ East - Shenzhen fast train, which travel at 200 KMH plus, stops at Chang Ping and the journey from CP to SZ only takes 22 minutes and costs RMB40 regular, RMB45 First class each way. In the monring, you could get just the economy class ticket and then go to the Restaurant Coach (#5 I think) and have breakfast (RMB15 minimum charge)! Trains are very frequent, approximately every half an hour or less.

Getting in and out of Luohu in the rush hour though..... you may have a bit more problems!! But you did say Shenzhen and Luohu is in Shenzhen!!

You think that CP has gotten more ROWDY?? Why would you think that? It's as rowdy as it has always been methinks!!

And since you think CP is now rowdy, you want to go to ZhhangMoutou?? I'd say that would be like going from the kettle to the fire - since ZMT is now ground zero for extreme labour retrenchment and large factory lay-offs.
What I write is perhaps a bit unfair on ZMT as it IS generally a bit more laid back than CP (and that I'm NOT as familiar about ZMT as I am of CP), but....

Also, since you're only going to go to the KTV - which is usually another luxurious world apart from its surrounding area - does it really matter if the surrounds is Rowdy or not? Just curious.

Further update.... for Monday... All the shops quite well stocked with the Swan Lake, practically FULL of gals.
Perhaps that Sundays are probably the worst day as all the gals probably already made piles of money Friday/Saturday and need to rest their li'l tushes a bit! Plus they know that all the Hong Kong guys are gone, Bye Bye, Adios - so why bother coming to work?

And since I already have an idea of which joint I'm gonna hit, was just asking if anyone knows it's still around and bustling with action. I think it was under some sort of renovation for abit so not too sure if the reno changed anything.

And adding. If it did, I'd then drop the thought of revisiting an old joint for even older memories sake and head back to CP for some recently acquired memories from the stag party I threw some of the boys.

When me and wadman first arrive at Hui Mei one of the girl told us we can stay overnight and I ask even now it was 8 pm, we ask the manager after 2 line up he confirm it was after midnight and that is standard for most sauna in Dongguan and Zhu Hai and most place allow you to stay until 10am, but the girlleave after the 90 min sessions.
