I had the good luck to visit Lucky7 Wed evening, and came away a happy man. Many thanks to those of you that post information on this board. It is a little difficult to find. Calla del Tern is a narrow little street that runs E-W, and is about a mile west of the Carbie Hilton, near Old San Juan. Only street parking is available, and it is kinda of a rough neighborhood. The door man offered to watch my car for a dollar. Cover was $8, and that included a drink ticket. I was there at about 9:30 and was one of the first guys there. Square, high ceilinged typical bar, with a stage in one corner. I was approached by a series of girls, mostly from the DR. Some quite attractive, some young, some not. Total girls in the place, probably 12-15 or so. After nursing a beer for 30 minutes, I made a deal with a dancer named Lydia, who was 24 or so, wel built and very eagar to please. On Thursday I spent the evening out on the town in Beautiful San Juan. After dinner, my friends and I visited the famous St. Tropez, which is near the Carbie Hilton. It is located on a small side street, but is light up enough that it is visable from the main street that goes by it onthe south. Any cab driver (if they're not on strike!) can direct you there. It is an old style strip bar, and features a wide varriety of ladies, something for every taste. We dropped many dollars there, but none of us selected any ladies. We left and traveled west to the well known HOT ZONE club, located at the corner of Ponce DeLeon (Rt 25) and Bolivar. It actually faces Bolivar, not the big street. Two policea in flak vests on the corner, but no threats visable. It is a hopping bar! Lots of ladies, mostly from PR but a few from DI. All three of us dropped enough dollars to make an impression with a lady of our choice, and we returned at 2:30 and picked them up. We returned with them to our hotel (Embassy Suites near the airport) and had a delightful time. My friend cost me $90 + $10 tip and was a small PR lady named Lourdes.

I have been a frequent visitor of San Juan for about 10 years now. I miss the good old days of El Doral and of course the legendary Black Angus. I will confirm, however, that the Lucky 7 can be a lot of fun. Room charge is $25 but you can usually get the girls down to $50 and that would include anything you choose. There is also a bar called Danny's on Ashford. Not a great selection but sometimes you will find a jewel there. I will be checking out the Blue Marlin next trip.

I parked my car at the corner where the street that Lucky Seven turns and joins the main street heading back to Condado, on the other side of the street. I didn't feel comfortable parking on the same street as the bar and that area is very well lit. You can also park in front of the Partido Popular Democratia building on that street as well.

I did the same as the others, paid $1 to get in the door, then paid the $8 cover. I picked up a drink and sat down by myself. I made the mistake of smiling at one woman and she sat down next to me. I did want to warn people about Frenchies though. I just got back from Puerto Rico and the situation is not good for our hobby there. I did some background with the help from this board and it really helped me out somewhat.
