Oslo is definitely not the place to go for mongering. The prices are high, the selection is bad and it's illegal. Of course it's illegal in many other places but police seems to focus on prostitution here. If you get caught the fines maybe 25000 NOK. Police say that they will also infor the family and employer.

Escorts/Incalls
There are plenty of ads but most have fake pictures. Russians dominate, some thais and some african/caribien. Standard price is 1500-2000 NOK per hour and extras are often 500NOK. There were some russians who provided complete service for 2000, could come twice. The girls operates from appartments or hotels.

Guys. I'm making a trip to Oslo in September. I haven't been there since April 2008. The mongering scene was pretty bad even back then. I saw the numerous SWs along the roads leading from Central Station out to the fjord, but decided that this action was risky. I finally went to a very average Asian massage parlour where I had a session with a Korean woman that was adequate but unmemorable. I also remember it was more expensive than I was expecting.

I read where someone had noted a couple of escort web sites and recommended that you ask the girl to come to your hotel room. Is that still about the only way to have fun in Oslo? Are there any swinger clubs, gang bangs, or strip clubs worth attending?

Probably Oslo is the worst place for mongering. First quality is bad, price is high and it's illegal. Police is on alert and there are several occasions where clients were fined NOK 25000 which is 3000€.
