I stayed once at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit and came back with a cambodian GoGo-Dancer somewhere from Soi Cowboy. Noone cared about it and she even didn't have to leave her ID at the security
I'll be in Bangkok for 4 nights at the end of my upcoming first trip to S.E.A. First time in the city.
I found this hotel on Agoda for $37 USD/night incl. breakfast, taxes & fees. The facilities look great but the location isn't perfect. It's right by the skytrain about 4 stops from Nana. I'm not a late-night person so I'm fine with that, but does anyone know if the place is GF?
I haven't booked anything yet. From reading here I'm thinking probably Majestic Suites if this place looks like it's not a good idea.

That's a pretty good haul from most of the action. I'd look for something in the Soi 2-6 or Soi 17-21 areas. If you're on a tight budget and the Majestic Suites is not available, I thought that the Grand Inn on Soi 3 right near Sukhumvit was pretty nice, and the location is fantastic for freelancers.

Thanks for the tip! I booked this hotel back in September through Wotif on your recommendation and was well pleased (as was my girl!). Tasteful rooms and excellent service. Now I know where I'll crash for at least some of the nights of my upcoming visit in February.

Stayed one nite here, its a ways away from the action but 8-10 min by taxi if NO traffic, ie late nite from Nana. I didnt have any company, but saw 3 Japanese guys bringing girls in at 130 am with no problems. BTW, hotel is super nice w/ free wifi in rooms, but pool gets no sun and its kind of a executive residence feel.

Thanks. I decided it was a bit far although it does look really nice. I'll be in Bangkok at the end of month long trip so I decided I want to stay somewhere nice. I found the Boss Suites at a good price on Agoda, $39 USD + their charges. There's a report from Dec that says it's GF. It looks like it's a bit of a walk from the action but I think that's probably good for me on this trip. My dick might need some recovery time by then. I read that it opened in November and the pix and reviews look really good to me.
I don't know what people normally do to book a double on Agoda. It was the same price as a single but they required a name so I put in Ms Not Sure. I guess I should have been a bit more creative......Pussy Galore or something. Next time.
Can anyone suggest a hotel with lots of mirrors ?

The room is very nice with all of the advertised amentities. The shower/bath area is big enough for some nice two person showers.
Staff seems to go out of their way to help. Breakfast in the morning is a full buffet that matches what you might get in most 5 star hotels and was included in my price. Wireless internet works fine and is free.
Since the Thai GF is with registered with me, I can't say whether there would be any hassle bringing someone back. The average Thai girl thouhg will be very impressed with the room and think you are a big spender.
The lobby is on the second floor and you get in the elevator at ground level from the car park, so you never have to walk a girl by the desk. There seems to always be someone though in the garage, but I doubt if he cares what you bring back.
The location on Soi 22 is ok, but it is a 5 to 10 minute walk to get to the skytrain station at the Emporium.

Pity. The hotel looks great.

Other good choices that cost a bit less, although not THAT close to Annies (more like a couple of blocks) are the Dynasty Grande and the Dawin. If you prefer upscale and have the budget for it, the JW Marriott is also only about 50 meters from Annies.

Majestic Grande is nice and great breakfast, but usually didn't include free internet in the price. I believe Dynasty Grande and Dawin probably do include free internet and should be overall cheaper but still only a very short walk to Annies (200-300 metres).

Since the elevator direct to the upper floors is right off the street in the car park and goes straight up to the rooms, I would think you could probably get girls in and out without anyone being the wiser. The only hang up might be the security guy who is always in the garage, but I have a feeling if you move fast he won't challenge you.

I think that I am able to walk for some hundreds meters from annie's and so dawin seems to feet well.
Obviously it is GF, right?
