At the lowest end, there are a few (I counted about 10) streetwalkers in the blocks south of Naresuan Road (not on the road itself). That's the big road heading west from the train station. Very poor quality, didn't partake, but saw a few ladyboys and some girls ( 10 total) late in the evening, after 10 pm. Got propositioned and quoted 500 baht.

There are several low-end Thai venues around what Google Maps says is Soi Khun Phirenthonrathep 1, roughly this area: [URL]http://goo.gl/p8PLXl[/URL].

Around 5-6 venues (easy to access, brothels, not only karaokes) plus a few possible freelancers. The places quoted me 600 baht, then revised it up to 700 to account for the commission to the tuktuk. Typical Thai service level, not much to write home about.

There are also 2 large-ish naughty massage places across the train tracks, 1500 baht range. Not sure of the exact location. The tuktuk mentioned these, but I decided on the more low-end scene instead.

I'll tell you what I've come across in the last couple of years, although the locations will be vague, as I wasn't noting details for others to re-trace, knowing that I could easily find these places again myself.

Thaton: (Several visits, most recently 2 years ago.) Gorgeous small town of about 1,000 residents. If you are facing the bus station (which is really just an empty lot), go maybe 50 meters to your right and look for the Thai Massage sign. It's pleasantly sleazy, the ladies go out. I recall some cute Akha girls. From Thaton, you can take a boat to Chiang Rai or a songthaew to Mae Salong.

Mai Sai: (3 visits, most recently 1 1/2 years ago.) If you face the immigration office where you cross into Burma, walk into the neighborhood to the right. You'll see some brothels. Really obvious and easy to find at night. I couldn't find a dirty massage shop, which I strongly prefer over brothels, for the life of me. Can anyone help me here?

Mae Hong Son: I found a "lady go out?" massage shop west of the lake area, down the hill and on the left. Cute girl, cheap. Not a lot of our kind of action that I could find. Nice town.

Mae Sariang: Some weird bars, sleazy but hard to figure out, right next to the bus station. It's a cute town of about 3,000 residents, I think. I don't recall meeting a single person who spoke any English. I don't speak Thai, but whatever, I like the town, although it's hard to get in and out of if you don't have a car.

Phayao: cute town with a pretty lake. Unfortunately, I found nothing but Aunties in the few massage shops.

Phrae: I met up with a temporary girlfriend, so no comment. Town is pretty dull.

Nan: there are a bunch of massage joints just up the street from the Sukkasem Hotel (which is good value.) The massage place I chose is really just a brothel. I suspect all the rest are also. There must be at least five or six of them, on the same side of the street and very near to each other. Look for the Christmas lights after dark.

Lampang: I kind of like this town. If you're in the hotel area facing the river, go to your left along the river road and you'll find massage joints.

I have enjoyed my stays in all of these small towns, and will likely return to every place I named. Most see few farang, and some hardly any. So if any of you readers can elaborate on this post, I'd appreciate it. And who can tell me where I can enjoy myself in Mae Salong? It's a great little town, but I found nothing there in terms of ladies in my three visits. I'll still return for the tea.

I visited Ko Samet from Pattaya as it is about an hour away via minibus and ferry. Not much going on here but pleasant, albeit, small island.

There are a few small bars on Main Street. One is called Old Amsterdam and the other is the Island Bar. There were a handful of bar girls there both nights I assume are available but did not enquire.

The late night disco scene was dead at least midweek but perhaps it's more active on the weekend.

Now in Ko Chang, which is three hour minibus south from Ko Samet. It is Thai 2nd largest island so many different areas and beaches to stay but difficult to travel between these areas. Decided to stay on White Sand Beach. On Main Street there is an area of bars referred to as Little Pattaya. When I walked by last night, I heard the girls cackling at me and a few came out of bars
to try to wrangle me inside but frankly talent appeared very low. A few could scare a dog off a meat wagon.

Shortly past 2 am, I could not sleep and decided to take a walk on beach. The few bars on beach were closed by now so nothing going on but after several minutes walking, I notice 5 people sitting on beach in darkness. A girl in sun dress gets up and comes to me me asks where am I going? I say taking a walk. She says I go with you for free and kisses me on cheek. She appears in darkness to be very pretty and nice figure. But alarm bells going off as it is never this easy. She spoke good English and appeared more Slavic in accent and looks though it's quite dark. I ask her where she is from and she says Southern Thailand. That's a new one after hearing Issan constantly. If she had said Russia, I was all in. She kisses me on cheek but I demure and she returns to her group. I notice two Thai guys and two other woman sitting on beach within her group.

Don't think it was LB due to soft voice but never been approached at beach that late at night.

Having spent the last 3 months in HH I've sampled many of the parlours in the area north of Bintabahn and Poonsuk Rd. If they have girls sitting around inviting you in for massage you're pretty well guaranteed extras. Generally the girls in HH are mainly in their 30's to 40's. In most establishments if you treat the girls well you will get full sex for 1000 bht. Basically once you have DATY they're more than ready for it despite asking for 1300 & being told I only have 1000. I find Thai girls particularly horny for farangs cock, as they all seem to have had bad experiences with Thai men. In approx 12 visits I had to settle for CIM only twice rather than full sex.

As it happens I am planning a similar trip now. Arriving on 15th April in fact.

Your report was just what I was looking for as I love exploring and find out of the way places where few Falang go.

I have made a note of the towns you really liked and will certainly follow a similar route.

Any more info of a similar type would be greatly appreciated.

Had a massage in one of the parlors at the north end of Poonsuk, and no problems with extras.

I am American. I moved to Mae Sot at the beginning of the year and actually stay south of the city by a few kilometers. Because I don't get too much free time but when I do, I love Thai massage with good endings and extras (topless. Etc) Because my wife has so many relatives here, I can not ask any taxi driver where to go- I have to learn as I go. Anyone know of any great places here with massage and extras or even brothels around town or on the outskirts? I know there are many but they seem disguised. I would even like Burmese. Would love to hear. I have a few of my own for happy endings I have found and will let you know if you happen to be interested or have any such info.

That the girl working the counter was a real sweetie only made the deal better. Chomsin Rd, west of naebkhars Road on the north side. Apparently they are moving next month so go say Hello, soon.

Been having a great time in Hua Hin, maybe my best trip yet. Staying at the Thipurai City Hotel and love the service. Rooms are big and clean, the pool on the 5th floor is small but pristine with a great view of the mountain at sunset. I've frequented a few of the massage shops and always got f / s without asking, real girlfriends who try really hard, one begged for anal, this was at 930 in the morning! Take away was always offered along so I take their phone numbers. Ayutthaya: not good right now, police controlled, all massage places that still had some attractions last year are now dead.

Japanese KTVs: the girls are not allowed to sit in front of their shops, they have to stay inside. This is all part of this after coup phenomenon, that drives the police to suddenly attach strings to usually normal income sources. It's hypocracy pure.

All action in Ayutthaya is located around the Grand Hotel, nothing is on the island.
