OK guys, this is a genuine FR from me and those that know me will know I have already mentioned this to a few privately. I have been staying in the JW Marriott Marquis in Business Bay for my last 5 visits to Dubai. I have reported on this in the Hotels section, but I know there has been a lot of confusion about Green hotels going Red without notice, especially during the holidays. This Marriott is consistently green to greenish orange with about a 20% chance of security requesting an I'd. Hotel is not cheap, but rooms are large and comfortable. I usually get upgrade to a one bedroom suite due to my status with Marriott, but too many families are paying the extra money this week. Though, having a room on the 66th floor makes up for the lack of a suite. This is, by the way, the tallest hotel in the world.

I met a fellow punter from the list this evening. Nice guy and hope to hook up with him again on this trip as it is fun to share war stories. We met at Premiere and he ran into a girl he shagged before and took her again. She was definitely a stunner, lucky guy.

I've been mongering in DXB since 1999 - a good 15 years with multiple trips per year since then. In the old days it used to be an enjoyable activity with week-long bookings for day and night included. Flights and hotels were extremely cheap. I would typically pay 2500 AED for an entire week with a 8/10 Russian girl. That includes day and night for the whole week. A whole night would cost around 600-800 AED and it was a whole night, usually from midnight to 8. 00 am in the morning.

The girls were enthusiastic and a full GFE was had, with lunch and dinner dates, shopping, etc. The girl was with me 24/7 during my stay and several even came to DXB airport to pick me up if I was seeing them again!

Many hotels were green and there we absolutely never any issues with hotels suddenly turning red.

It felt just like being on holiday with a real girlfriend. One that you can change daily if you wanted to. I kept in touch with many girls after I came back home. I'm still in touch with a few of them after all these years and they've now returned to their home countries. I've also flown over to see a few of them in their home countries (Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan).

Over the last five or six years the mongering scene in Dubai has changed beyond recognition for me. I still go but come back disappointed. I have a friend who works in an AMP whom I fall back on when there's nothing worth seeing in the clubs.

Now the prices are very high - 1500 to 2000 AED for what is supposed to be an all-nighter, but the girl is keen to get you to pop the moment you walk into the room so she can get back to the club and earn another 1500 AED during the same night. The service is lacklustre.

A typical week in DXB (5-6 nights) costs me 700 GBP in flights and around 600 GBP in hotels. That's 1300 GBP blown before I even see the first girl. In a 6-night stay I'll monger for at least 4 of those nights. At a rate of 1500 AED for each of those nights, that's 6000 AED. Around 600 GBP. Factor in food and some shopping and I've blown not far off 2300 GBP for effectively four 3-4 hour punts during the week. That averages out at around 575 GBP per punt (890 USD, 3,300 AED). That doesn't include the money for drinks in the clubs.

When I'm in DXB there's not much to do during the day so I usually sleep until around 6. 00 pm when I get up to get ready for mongering. Hence, it hasn't become a holiday anymore. Just a place to visit to pick up girls in the evening. If I wanted a 24/7 booking for my entire stay with an attractive CIS girl for 6 nights then I'm looking at at least 15,000 AED (that's what I was quoted earlier this year after negotiating the rate down!

Back in my home country, I can see an EE / Russian girl who is 8/10 for looks for 100 GBP per hour. I typically get longer than the hour as the agency knows me well and the driver is always late getting back to pick her up. I get a full GFE experience with every service included. A full night costs 550 GBP and the girl often stays until midday the next day and I drop her back home. In effect I can get a girl with a better attitude who provides more of a GFE experience and stays a lot longer (8. 00 pm to midday the next day) for a cost that's cheaper than the effective cost in DXB. I'm also in my own home in a relaxed environment and atmosphere.

So, back to the topic. Is mongering in Dubai actually worth it anymore?

Specially if you are not rich and loaded! The rates have been on the rise with prosperity of Dubai and its not just the girls. Everything here is damn expensive! I can bet if you are just looking for CIS dames, it would cost you 1/3rd of what you pay for your trip to Dubai by just going to Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan where majority of these girls originate from. Much better service, fraction of the cost and cheaper overall for ticket and stay. For me personally I visit Dubai for work and on the side of it I get the occasional WG to come to the room but personally I would rather go to Bangkok or Cebu in Asia or FKK scene in Germany if I was being a Whorist!

For me it is the ability to walk into a club with a wide variety of girls and choose one to take home. Rush.[/QUOTE]Interesting debate over the past few posts. I read the reports regularly from Dubai but, to be honest, have only mongered there on the odd occasion, usually when the airline puts me up at the Airport Meridian to break up a long-haul flight when I have used the nearby Jules.

What I would say is the experiences of Airport are probably reflected wherever you monger.

I visit Hong Kong regularly 2 or 3 times a year and must have made about 30 visits over the past 15 years. That's where I do most of my mongering although I have dipped into Australia and New Zealand.

15 years ago, the exchange rate was HK $15 to £1. Today it is nearer 12 $ and has been as low as 10 $. And of course I was 15 years younger!

LT then could be had for HK $400/$500. Today it is $1500. That's inflation for you.

Quality is down as are the number of girls so the price goes up. Try getting a non-asian in any of the bars and the price can go through the roof.

It's all relative. If you can afford it – and I detect that both Rush and Airport are not short of a few bob – then although it is expensive, they indulge. If Dubai is not worth it anymore – move on. It is a personal decision.

I love HK – I like Asian girls. I believe they are more "into it". GFE is all but guaranteed. I know I should go to Thailand or Philippines where it is more available and cheaper but I needed an excuse to go there. Up until recently there was no reason to go there. So, all things considered, Dubai is a pretty good place for me, notwithstanding the high prices. I don't go very often, maybe once every year or two. I will be back in Dubai tomorrow night!

The clubs don't stay the same (for example, Rattlesnake closed), so I don't have the latest information. Last time in Dubai was March 2013.

Most CIS are either from Central Asia I. E. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan or Caucuses e. G. Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan.

Russian or ethnic Slavic are few and generally more expensive than stanis.

For most CIS girls LT is no more than 3-4 hours.

In middle east they are most expensive after Arabic speaking women (usually from Morocco, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen).

They are more expensive because most Asian treats them as novelty and willing to pay over the top. Generally people like rare things. This analogous to Europeans love for Filipina. They are aware of it and various occasions have admitted of exploiting it.
