Always use the currency of the country you are posting about
To avoid confusion, I ALWAYS put the amount in the currency of the country you are reporting about. This way no matter which country others are from they can easily change that amount to their home currency. Not everyone here is from the US, Auzzie, UK etc. I know a few from Singapore and sometimes they post it as dollars on other boards as the currency in Singapore is also called the dollar but it's Singapore dollar and not US dollar. Difference is about 60%.

Hong Kong / Philippines diary, day 16
This is a continuation of my diary which has appeared on the Hong Kong and Manila threads. Please note that 7 days of this trip were spent in China where I didn't find any action so did not post on the forum.
Day 16, Angeles.
I was woken by my alarm at 10.30 am. Macca had booked a taxi to take us to Angeles at midday and I hoped to have a quickie with Jonalyn before I set off. But she was sleeping so peacefully I hit the snooze button and fell back asleep.
By 11 we were both awake, curled up and chatting. At one point she looked me in the eye and asked whether I would go with any girls while I was in Angeles. I planned to go with at least one girl a day but I didn't tell her that, I told her I was just going to Angeles to support my lady-loving friends Owen and Macca and the bars there don't interest me. If I was pinocchio my nose would have impaled her.
"I'll miss you" she told me and I would miss her too. She was a great girl. When I'm in Asia I want to fuck as many girls as possibly but if Jonalyn lived in England, I'd happily give her the keys to my flat. She seemed to really like me so I told her that I'd take her out for dinner when I got back to Manila. She perked up and went for a shower while I packed.
Ten minutes later I had finished packing but she was still in the shower. These girls love to make the most of hotel amenities! I began to pace around and check my watch. The taxi would arrive soon. After five more minutes the sound of running water stopped and another five minutes later she came out of the bathroom and got changed. In your own time love. We took the lift downstairs together and I kissed her goodbye. The taxi was already waiting but I needed to check out and to do that they had to send someone up to my room to see whether I got my 1000 peso deposit back. By the time I got in to the taxi outside it was ten past 12 and Macca had a disapproving look on his face. I blamed my tardiness on Jonalyn.
We drove the short distance to pick Owen up and then set off on our way to Angeles. The sun was shining, the roads were clear and the mood was upbeat. Owen and Macca had enjoyed Manila more than I thought so I was excited to show them the 'gogo capital of the world', Angeles.
The trip took two hours and cost 3000 pesos including tolls. We were dropped off at Macca's hotel, Orchid Inn, and then Owen and I walked to our hotels nearby. It was blisteringly hot so I was glad when I arrived at Appartelle Royal. We arranged to meet up in an hour on Fields Avenue and Owen went in search of his hotel, 950 Condotel.
I pre-booked Appartelle Royal on Agoda for 1650 pesos a night. I've stayed there several times before and have always been happy with the room and location. It's easy to walk past as it's a small hotel with ten rooms and the entrance is just one solitary door next to Camelot gogo bar (there is a statue of a man in full body armour outside who I always refer to as my hotel security). I climbed the stairs and a chubby girl sitting next to reception remembered me from three years earlier. I checked in and she showed me to my room. It was spacious with a large dressing area in front of the wardrobes, a seated area next to a well-stocked fridge and a decent sized bathroom. There was satellite TV, air-con and a safe but the best feature was a full length mirror alongside the bed! Every room in Appartelle has them, one of the main reasons I choose to base myself here each visit.
I stood in front of the air-con for five minutes to cool down and then unpacked. I needed to get some money out. Prior to the trip I read a few cases of skimming devices used on ATM's in Angeles, so I went to Wild Orchid Hotel on A. Santos Road which has an ATM inside the foyer. Like most ATM's in Philippines its maximum withdrawal was 10,000 pesos so I used my card twice to withdraw 20,000. I deposited the majority of it in the safe in my room and then went to meet the guys for lunch.
We had agreed to meet at Kokomoz, which does excellent food and offers a perfect people-watching spot overlooking Fields Avenue. Hawkers walked up and down selling viagra, smartphones and even in one case, bows and arrows! I ordered a San Miguel and picked beef and broccoli from the extensive menu. "I know I'm going to like it here" Owen said to me as he watched two pretty girls walk past.
Macca arrived looking flustered. He told us that his room at Orchid Inn was terrible as it didn't have a window and was very small. He'd got a special deal on a 'standard room' for 1000 pesos a night but said he couldn't bring himself to stay there (in fairness to Orchid Inn I should point out that their bigger rooms look superior and the hotel has a swimming pool and decent restaurant). Macca went off to sort it out as Owen and I tucked in to our food. Afterwards I went back to my hotel to catch up on some sleep in preparation for the night ahead.
My alarm woke me and I made myself a coffee to wake up. I was excited. As much as I love exploring Asia's pay-for-play scenes (and in the last two years I've developed a taste for Pattaya), Fields Avenue is my favourite hunting ground in Asia.
We met at Kokomoz at 7 pm and Macca was in better spirits. He'd checked in to a swanky hotel ten minutes away called Prime Asia, which cost 3000 per night. He told us it was more than he would usually spend but he had done well for himself in the months preceding the trip. He's a singer and the bookings came flooding in, presumably due to the wonderful poster I designed for him.
Fields Avenue comes alive at night. Groups of young 'Hello girls' stood outside each bar and there was a lively atmosphere. It was like Walking Street in Pattaya without the river of tourists, Russian men with mullets and Japanese tour groups. It's just mongers and girls here. We watched pretty girls walk past as we sipped our beers. It's a shame freelancers have a bad reputation on Fields Avenue because there were some lovely girls.
It was up to me to choose the bars tonight and there was only one place to start. We walked in to ATLANTIS at 7.30 pm, a huge theater-like gogo bar with 70 girls crammed on the circular stage in the middle and three balconies overhead. I wanted to bring Owen and Macca here due to the sheer scale of the place and the number of girls. They'd been to many gogo bars in Thailand but nothing could compare to this. We ordered a Red Horse (125 pesos) and I scanned around. The quality of girls was exceptional. Straight away I saw five or six young honeys I'd happily marry tomorrow.
I recognised the manager and he told me that prices were still 3000 for girls wearing green badges and 1700 for those wearing white. Every girl on stage was wearing a green badge. He told me "we hardly have any white badge girls these days but two started yesterday who are very pretty". I noticed that none of the girls wore numbers, instead they had name badges. The manager told me that they had to change "after pressure from the Town Hall" but the problem is that the girls always want to change their name! Haha.
Whenever girls left the stage they paraded around the bar and said 'Hello' to all of the customers which I thought was a nice touch. There were some fabulous girls. The prettiest I saw was called April but realistically I could bar-fine most of these girls and be perfectly happy! They were all young, sweet and smiley with the occasional stunner thrown in for good measure. Sitting in front of me a girl was feeding a Japanese customer yakatori. She was facing in my direction and kept smiling discreetly to me. She was a flirty little thing so I waved and made a note of her face. Owen was surrounded by three smiling waitresses and Macca looked like a kid in a toy shop perving on all of these pretty girls.
I wanted them to see lots of bars tonight so I told them "five minute warning" and we drank up. It had been an excellent start to the night. Outside a young vendor approached Owen with a tray of cigarettes. "I no smoke" Owen said. The young boy thought quickly and said "viagra?" to which Owen replied "I no have sex". To be fair to Owen, he has some good one-liners from time to time.
We walked slowly down the middle of the street, admiring the Hello girls in their cute outfits. They were all young and pretty and tried to persuade us to enter their bar with a flutter of their eyelashes as we walked past.
On my last visit to Angeles, Typhoon was one of my favourite bars but it is now called MONSOON. 'Would it blow us away?' I wondered as we entered. It's a very intimate layout with one narrow stage in the middle and benches either side. You are extremely close to the girls so it's easy to build rapport. There were 20 girls squeezed on stage but it was a disappointing lineup, including a few girls who I found it hard to believe ever got bar-fined. One of them looked like she had a beer belly. I didn't see any girls of the quality of Gillian who I bar-fined from here on my last visit. But it's always worth staying in these bars to see the second dance shift and sure enough the quality picked up. A tiny girl with a big smile danced with great energy and I liked the look of a shy girl with pleated hair. Each time she caught me looking over she looked away (before glancing over a few seconds later to see if I was still looking). Owen was flirting with a cheeky young girl on stage as Britney Spears sang "I'm not that innocent". I enjoyed the irony. The prettiest was a 'Hello girl' standing near the door wearing a smart uniform.
The word bar-fine isn't used in Angeles any more (most bars either call it 'early release' or 'take-out') . In Monsoon you buy the girl a 2500 peso bottle of 'Party Animal', a sickly sweet pink cocktail. A waitress goes through the charade of bringing the cocktail over to your table and your choice of girl will usually take just one sip and then leave with you. The bar gets the money and you get your girl (and the waitress no doubt empties what wasn't drunk back in to the bottle).
Another bar that has changed its name is CENTAURO which was formerly known as Carousel. It was exactly the same inside as I remembered and still had a fairground carousel in the middle, slowly rotating to show off the girls. I'm not sure it needed to change its name. We got stools next to the moving stage. There were 25 girls and several were very pretty, smiling down to us as they slowly rotated past. Two shy girls clung tightly on to a plastic horse and there was a lovely girl with long curly hair wearing a skimpy blue bra and panties. The girls wore no names or numbers, making it difficult for me to identify my favourites. The second dance shift was equally as impressive and I spotted a 9/10. She had flawless skin, a beautiful face and big blowjob lips, the type of girl you see staring down at you from the big billboards that line the motorways here. A girl with a spectacular body danced on the edge of the carousel, her boots dangerously close to knocking my beer over. The bar-fine here is 3000 pesos.
DRAGON'S DEN impressed me three years ago and I bar-fined a lovely girl called Ann (from experience girls called Ann never fail to deliver in Asia). It was half past 9 and it was the same dark, lively venue that I remembered with 15 girls dancing on stage. They wore khaki style vests and danced with tremendous energy, like they were in military training. But once again Owen didn't waste any time chatting up a pretty waitress. Most customers target the dancers in these places but not Owen! She left her notepad on the table in front of me so I grabbed it, stood up and asked Owen "lady-drink for girl, sir?" If looks could kill.
Macca and I sat on two comfy chairs next to the stage but we didn't see any girls dancing that tempted us. I noticed some lovely lookers sat around the bar though, watching the show. After a while the stage cleared and eight elegantly dressed spotlight dancers lined up at the back of the stage and each took it in turns to dance sexily at the front to slow music. Number 58 was extremely cute. I was tempted to buy her a drink but by the time she had finished her dance we would be ready to leave. I had imposed strict time guidelines on Owen and Macca to ensure that we visited plenty of bars tonight, so I called 'five minute warning' and we drank up. Owen had bought a lady-drink (300 pesos) for the waitress and I asked him whether he was going to bar-fine her. He told me that he had discreetly got her number instead.
I wanted us to go to Blue Nile next, a rich hunting ground for me in previous trips. Sadly it is no longer open so we went to another Egyptian themed bar, GRAND PHAROAH, lured in by a gaggle of great looking Hello girls outside. The bar is on the 3rd floor and we took the elevator up. It has a unique layout with a big double-decker stage on which 30 girls danced. All were young and slim and I spotted a very pretty girl at the front. It was difficult to see exactly how pretty because we were near the back but I reckoned she was a 9/10 on my scale. I was just about to ask a waitress to invite the girl over for a lady-drink when the place went dark and the stage cleared. When the lights came on three girls were stood on the top deck of the stage wearing leather catsuits. Miaow. They proceeded to do a very well choreographed dance routine to 'Purple Rain'. One of them was a stunner with a long ponytail but I was more interested in the cute curly haired girl I'd spotted in front of the stage. I scanned around the room but couldn't see her.
In front of us were a group of seven Korean men and all of them had lovely Filipino companions, dressed in casual clothes. Koreans like to bar-fine early and then take their choice of girl to other bars afterwards. One of the girls was wearing a headscarf and had tattoos down her arms and looked every inch a hardcore pro. She had a fantastic face and would be a guaranteed wild time.
Macca went to the toilet and came back bemoaning the fact that he'd accidentally tipped the man inside 100 pesos. It was all he had and he thought it was a 20 peso note. It's big spenders like him that drive the prices up for the rest of us!
It was 10.45 when we walked in to DOLLHOUSE. It has a round stage in the middle, surrounded by seating and overlooked by a balcony full of customers. We got seats next to the stage and watched as four girls did a very impressive routine spinning around a pole to Sia's 'Chandelier'. I spotted some very pretty girls around the bar. On the opposite side of the stage was a lovely looking girl wearing a blue sparkly top and behind her was a topless cutie with tape covering her breasts in a zig-zagged pattern. When the four girls finished their pole routine, 15 spotlight girls stood on the perimeter of the stage and took it in turns slow-dancing at the front. A large Indian man at the front took great pleasure tipping them by placing notes in to their knickers. Macca nudged me and told me to "take a look at the girl in red". We have similar tastes in girls and she was indeed beautiful.
The stage cleared again and 40 girls crammed on. Right next to me was a fresh-faced girl with big chipmunk cheeks. She was cuteness personified but whenever I looked at her she jokingly gave me a fierce stare. I like girls with a silly sense of humour. Amusingly she tore a strip of tape off the leg of one of the spotlight girls, like she was waxing her, and the girl screamed comically. It was funny to watch but not so funny when she pressed the tape on to my forehead and quickly pulled it off! My eyes watered with pain but all the girls found it hilarious. Owen had bought a lady-drink for a pretty girl named Riza, a lovely sort with a radiant smile and tempting curves. It was no surprise that he decided to bar-fine her.
I really liked Dollshouse. There were lots of great girls, a fun atmosphere and unlike my previous visits, there was no lady-drink pressure. The bar-fine was 3000 pesos.
We walked through the back to CRYSTAL PALACE. There were 25 young girls stood shoulder-to-shoulder on the round stage but although the selection was decent, I didn't spot the girl for me. Macca noticed a pretty girl day-dreaming on the balcony that overlooks the stage. There was a shift change and the girls walked off the stage and 25 more got on. Macca's eyes darted around until he saw the girl he's seen day-dreaming. She had a slender body and a nice face but Macca decided not to buy her a drink as he had a "slight doubt about her teeth". He's a perfectionist! He told me that he could always come back on another night.
Most bars have buckets of ping pong balls which you can buy for 200 pesos and then throw to the girls, who pick up a small commission for each one they collect. However, on the balcony above a complete and utter twat of a bald-headed westerner was throwing ping pong balls at the girls, hard and flat, smiling whenever he hit one. It never ceases to amaze me the lack of respect some customers give these girls.
With Owen happily paired off with Riza, it was time for Macca and I to find our girl. We decided to go back to ATLANTIS. It was nearly 1 am and there were still plenty of girls on stage. There were about 30 and I noticed a contender right in the middle, shuffling slowly from side to side like a girl who's been on her feet all night. She was tall and had an air of elegance but when I pointed her out to Macca he said "ladyboy"! I looked at her again, closer this time. She had an angular jawline but I thought it was definitely a girl. But now he'd put the seed of doubt in my mind, I couldn't look at her in the same way.
Girls were firing balloons around the bar and there was a party atmosphere. I spotted two pretty girls sat on the balcony above the stage, one of whom had bright red hair. She reminded me of Kawaii, the flame-haired stunner I repeatedly tried to meet in James S Lee Mansion in Hong Kong, but she was never home. I carefully aimed one of the long balloons at her but it spiraled in the wrong direction and hit another girl on the head. I mouthed 'sorry' to her and she laughed. Owen told us that he was calling it a night and left with Riza. He was clearly delighted with his choice of girl, in fact I've never seen him looking so happy! I was pleased his time in Angeles was starting well.
Time was marching on. It was half past one so Macca and I formed a pact. We'd go back to DOLLSHOUSE, which had impressed us so much earlier, and we HAD to bar-fine a girl. We got good seats that were slightly elevated in front of the stage and ordered drinks. We both had our game face on as we knew that somewhere in this bar was the girl we'd end up spending the night with.
I spotted the beautiful girl in red that Macca had pointed out to me earlier. She had a fantastic face but Macca hesitated. The rest of the girls were wearing skimpy bikinis but she was wearing a dress. He thought that maybe she had been bar-fined so I asked a waitress. She told me that the girl was available and two minutes later she was sat next to Macca's side. She was a stunner up close.
So that was Owen and Macca ticked off, it was now my turn. I studied the stage and saw a cute spotlight girl I'd seen earlier. She was topless and her pert tits were covered in colourful tape. She had a distinctive look facially and a sexy, slim body. I called her down and bought her a lady-drink.
We barely had chance to introduce ourselves when Riza, the girl Owen bar-fined, suddenly appeared at my side looking upset. She explained that when she got back to Owen's hotel she didn't have any ID as she had only been working at the bar for a few weeks. The front-desk warned Owen against taking her in to his room so he went to bed on his own. Riza had tears in her eyes as she explained and kept apologising. She seemed genuinely upset. Macca and I tried to think of a solution. Our first idea was that they could go to Macca's room at Orchid Inn (which he hadn't checked out of) but he didn't have a key. I suggested they could go to a short-time hotel and Macca went outside to phone Owen. He came back five minutes later and told me that Owen wasn't interested, he just wanted to sleep. He'd had his hopes built up and they had come crashing down. He was also 3000 pesos (not to forget three lady-drinks) out of pocket.
I came up with an idea. I asked to speak to the most senior mamasan, a wise looking old dear in a woolen hat. With Riza at my side I explained what had happened. I told her how Riza didn't have her ID and suggested that perhaps the 3000 bar-fine he had paid could be carried over to tomorrow night. It was a long shot so I was surprised when the mamasan agreed straight away and said that she would make sure that Riza had ID tomorrow. Sometimes Dollshouse receives bad reports online but what great customer service! I texted Owen the good news.
Good deed done, I returned my focus to the pretty girl sat next to me. Her name was Jehna and she was 20 years old from Subic. Her lady-drink cost 250 pesos and we clinked bottles and said 'tagay'. She was cute and had a pink bow in her hair but I was picking up bad vibes. She wasn't flirty or talkative and her body language didn't fill me with hope that she'd be a passionate performer in the bedroom. But it was late so I decided to ignore my instinct and bar-fine her anyway. I paid 3000 pesos and she went to get changed.
Unsurprisingly Macca had decided to bar-fine the lady in red. Her name was Maike and sat next to her was her best friend, a definite 10/10 in my books. She had a stunning face and tattoos down her left arm. She was wearing a dress so I presumed that she had returned from an earlier bar-fine (I wondered whether Jehna would do a runner after one pop as well). Macca told me that he was bar-fining Maike tonight but at her suggestion was trying to set up a threesome with the two of them for tomorrow afternoon. If he could pull that off he would enter legendary status in my mind. Threesomes are easy to come by in Asia but not with two girls as pretty as these.
I said goodbye to Macca and his girls and walked back to my hotel with Jehna. She was absolutely tiny. Now she had taken her high-heels off her head was below my shoulder. She was reluctant to hold hands, another bad sign, and when we got back to my room she noticed that her phone had ran out of batteries so asked if she could go to get a recharger. She was gone for twenty minutes and I was just about to go to bed, thinking she'd done a runner, when she walked back in to my room. She was eating a chicken wrap and had bought herself a new recharger for her phone. Amusingly she'd also treated herself to a new dress.
We chatted as she ate her meal and she seemed to loosen up a bit. She put a Tagalog movie on TV and we lay next to each other in bed watching it. It was 4 am and I was tired after a long night and a few too many beers. Normally I like to cap my night off with a fuck but I decided it could wait until morning.
I was disappointed Graham's night had ended badly but aside from that, we had lots of fun, visited lots of bars and there were heaps of pretty girls. Recently there have been bar-raids, for example Nemesis a few weeks earlier, but it's just business as usual on Fields Avenue. The pricing has changed slightly though. Three years ago lots of bars had a two-tier bar-fine system, 1700 and 3000 pesos depending on the girl. These days the top-end price has remained the same but there were very few girls going for 1700 pesos. The Pasha Group bars have also raised their bar-fine price up to 2500 pesos. There was no lady-drink pressure in any of the bars and drink prices seem to be a fairly standard 125 pesos for a bottle of San Miguel. Cheaper prices can be found in happy hours of course.
I drifted off to sleep. I was looking forward to fucking Jehna in the morning.
