Arrived in Rio yesterday.

After a little rest, had a sweet amiga that I met on a previous trip come to my place and "matar saudades", LOL.

Had a buddy in town and he wanted to meet up at MABs.

Though it's not my normal hangout, and it being a Sunday, I was expecting just the usual suspects to be there.

Called an Uber, and off I go.

Of course it was fairly slow, being Sunday.

I liked it though. Very few guys and at least a couple sweet mulatas for me to choose from, which I did.

Had a nice session in a crappy room, LOL, with a sexy, thin but round booty mulata.

At least the room had a fan blowing and we layed down fresh sheets on the bed.

Got home thoroughly exhausted and slept like a baby.

Just came back from a dozen days in Rio. Was my first time in Brazil.

Thanks to the 2 ISGers I met there, hopefully I'll meet you guys again, like in Germany; o).

For the logistics:

*) Lodging: I had booked an hotel in Copa 2 blocks from the beach near Posto 5. I concur to what somebody said: it's a good idea to stay in Copa and travel to Centro for hobby rather than the other way round. Centro at night looks like a No Man's land. Copa at night did not feel particularly unsafe. I did not feel threatened walking on the beachfront. On the other hand, saw a couple of incidents involving kids stealing from people on Atlantica Avenue in broad daylight and cops chasing them.

*) Taxi to / from Airport: When I arrived, somebody hailed me and quoted 100 BRL for the ride to Copa West. I was jetlagged and dying to get to the hotel, so I paid just that. On the way back to the airport from the hotel, I just hailed the first cab I saw, and I paid 60 BRL.

*) Currency Exchange: I used the 2 small shops on the beach end of Rua Xavier de Silveira. Got 3. 35 BRL per USD which was more than the official [URL]xe.com[/URL] quote at the time, and also 3. 35 per EUR which was a bit less than [URL]xe.com[/URL].

Now for the good stuff:

*) Monte Carlo was my favorite place. So easy to reach by foot from any Copa hotel. Definitely not cheap (North of 700 BRL for Ingresso + one hour session), but the 3 girls I got there were good performers: Luana (with firebird tatoo on her back), Kaitlyn (Young blonde w / pink dress) and one I think her name was Gabriella w / fake boobs, but very serviceable. Even when I showed up at opening at 3. 00 PM because I had a plane to catch on my last day, they still had 3 or 4 very doable girls ready. Never saw more than 4-5 customers there, and music not too loud, which made an enjoyable atmosphere to me.

*) 4 x 4 was also good. Much cheaper (like 360 BRL for 60 minutes). Best 2 I got were Luna (not to be confused with Luma which was a bit mechanical), and Lara who fucks like a pornstar on a mission. Much more packed w / guys than Monte Carlo, and louder techno music. Getting out of Centro at nighttime can be a little frightening however.

Visited Centaurus and did not partake. They have this stupid thing that a girl will stay with you from the time you step in, hoping that you'll buy something from her. Very annoying even if mine was quite sexy (Brenda, I think, from Amazonian descent).

Cancun, we were in and out in less than 15 minutes, must be some kind of record.

Prives:

*) The best I found was Bel Prazer: Clean rooms, can't-be-beaten prices (150 BRL for one hour), sexy girls but most of them will do CBJ only though. The hard part for non-portuguese speakers is that they follow each other introducing themselves to you, most times you don't even understand their names, and then you have to choose one. In three visits, the best I got was the black girl with long dreadlocks (forgot her name).

*) Tried Onyx, sale building, same floor. Let's just say a place where I have to kill a cockroack to get into the shower will never be high on my list. Took Winnie who is featured on the website, and honestly looks better on the website than in person, but at least she did her best to please.

I'm not really into taking a girl from a bar to an hotel, but Barbarella has very nice ones, plus they have a stripper on stage for eye candy.

Mab's, I woulnd't really say they have good looking ones, but you can consider that as a lender of last resort: if you go there, you'll always find somebody to take home.

Sometimes I work so much I forget the magic of Brazil, especially outside the south, is that there is basically an endless parade of 18 year-old black / brown girls with biquini marks waiting to clean your pipes at any time. One of them yesterday was sitting on my face, as they're known to do, and as my tongue is earning its keep, I say to myself "you know, Cartman, this would be an opportune moment to stick your finger right up her butthole" . So I did. And of course she loved it and instantly wiggled her hips to get it in deeper. Fun times. Yeh she was like 1. 5 hours late coming over, but, hey, that's why they come here, and I have Netflix.

Went to check it out myself in Dec of 2015 and found the building to be semi-demolished. Also asked around if they had perhaps relocated, but not such luck. Is going to strip clubs and choosing girl there the best / safest option?

As far as freelancers found online go, do you invite them to your apartment or go to hers?

Also, are things any different during the carnival?

Good luck with your Rio visit, you are going to have great time. I was there last month and going again in March.

Well February is busy in Rio, specially during the carnival. There are a lot of nice places to pick up 9 and 10's. Depending on your budget, you can select high end termas or try Barbarella. Termas are safest but you have to do your activities at the location. If you like any girl you can get her number and meet her next day or that week. My choice is to invite to apartment so I can have a better time and peace of mind with a fun lady without looking at the watch. Not a good idea to go to her because you don't know where and what kind of atmosphere you are going to be dealing. If you need more help let me know.

If you want to take a cab home, there will be one waiting right in front of 4 x4.

But if you want an Uber driver, you'll probably have to walk to the nearest intersection and wait a few minutes for him.

Maybe I'm just too cautious. Nothing happened to me, but even the time I was with a local girl, she reckoned that it was a good thing we didn't have to wait too long for the driver.
