Being a newbie, I was super excited joining here and have penned down even my first FR. I am at awe looking at the amount of info this forum has gathered. I have made some quick friends in the last two days. I have reached out to a few senior folks, whom, I am hopeful would provide some good contacts, so that I can find my footing and help fellow mongers. Overall, I feel that uncovering this forum was the biggest blessing for me. Just wanted to convey my appreciation for building such an Eco system. I had a few queries.

- How do you build a reputation so that fellow mongers trust you? As I understand not everyone is ready to share the digits.

- I also understand that, we as a community, do not want anyone anyone to be harassed or compromise confidentiality (if requested to maintain confidentiality), this apart are there any other reasons (of course barring legal) to withhold digits.

I am sorry, if this has already been covered some place, in that case a pointer in the right direction would help.
