I usually walk to the other end of Rio Branco and either take the train if it's still running or a bus. Brazilians do not like to be on the deserted streets of Centro late at night, so play it safe and take a cab. And, yeah, I know. You have been going to 4 x 4 and other clubs in Centro for years without ever having a problem. I had a buddy who got herpes the first time he did a hooker. Some guys have no luck and that somebody just might be you.

People aren't going to rehash everything every time a newbie shows up. Not to mention, most newbies get what they need from the forum community, make their trip and never come back to participate in the forum.

You might want to lower your expectations for finding 9's and 10's and expect to see 8's and 7's. Let's also just say there are no such things as 10's. If you see a girl who is a 9 at a termas or Barbarellas, don't let the moment pass too long before approaching her. I have missed out on a a few 9's because I was lazy and enjoying myself with buddies. Even though it's easy to close the deal, you still have to close the deal. These 9's aren't going to be sitting on the shelf too long. In a termas, you might see a hot 9 already with a guy. Don't forget her. Make eye contact. Several things can play out. (1) Some guys talk a lot and don't take girls to the rooms. (2) Not my favorite option, but you can opt to go with her after the first guy. (3) Like Love Bite mentioned, get her number when she is free. That might work better because she might be tired from working. Regarding seeing a hot one in a terma with a guy I would like to add that unless they are all over each other, you can def ask her "ta occupado?" "quero subir?" are you busy. Do you want to go up? Etc.

My impressions are that activity is very low and quality is much better (IMHO).

I too have been there, and it is a decent sized spot with an interesting layout. Not as cavernous as the old Help and there is a big staircase down to the main area which might prove perilous, but let's hope for the best! Will go on Thursday to scout it out and report back.

I saw LE Boy closed around the Olympics. Funny someone would try this. I doubt under Crivella it could thrive, but I suppose it's a location where the neighbors already were used to noise and sex and will be less likely to complain.
