Called her today to see if I could get some numbers out of her. She apparently works in either an apartment or casa during the day. I heard alot of girls in the background laughing and talking with no music. So I guess its a casa, not a Termas. At 40 years old I doubt she is working in a Tier 1 Termas. Some will come, some won't. Believe it or not, alot of these Termas girls have jealous boyfriends they have to go home to at midnight. Their hours are tough because they work later afternoons and into the evenings.
My game is. I like to talk to a Termas girl before a session. Interview her like many out here say. If you have chemistry, maybe ask her if she is available after her shift to come over to your apartment. If thats what you want, then better off finding out. If she says no. Then move onto another Termas girl that can and will. Its your choice. I will always spot her R15 in the Termas towards her taxi as a good faith 'deposit' so she comes. I just completed my third short trip to Rio in the last three months. My typical stay in Rio was 4 or 5 days as part of a larger trip to other Brazil cities. I am developing some new media projects in Brazil. And the internet media companies are really getting some interest down there.
Previously I had been to Rio just once for 6 days (about a year ago) and did some limited local mongering based on the terrific Bwana Dik and Bubba Boy reports. I hit Centaurus, Monte Carlo, Luomo, 4 X 4, Help and a few escorts. Overall I had great experiences, did not pull out anyone from Help, and actually befriended a few termas girls from Luomo and MC (despite my limited Porto and their limited English) and spent time at clubs together. I stayed at the girl-friendly Aporodor Inn which was a great location on the beach between Ipanema and Copa (which allowed me to really explore both beaches and lots of local restaurants, pubs, etc.)
On my second trip back I stayed at Marriott on business for just 3 nights with some colleagues and managed to sneak off to the Copa termas. And reconnected with a few of my termas ladies for a great night out at Melt. I was able to bring one back to the Marriott with me because she was really well dressed and I befriended some of the desk people there. I do not think they really endorse bringing ladies back.

We sat on the balcony back at my apartment while it rained and kept the conversation going. And then we ended up in bed before I had to get back to work.
What I learned: for me the whole apartment set-up is a great relaxed way to go. I really like the whole GFE experience and the apartment is best for it. And that great experiences are really available at every turn.

Did you get a double room, as I recommended? If yes, there should not be such an insanely high guest fee.
Here is what I do: I am always nice to the night guy at the front desk and chat a bit with him. Already on the second night I can then do the following: I tell him that I am expecting a female friend over around midnight, that I know about the rule of signing in at the front desk, but that I do not want her to feel like a wh*re. So ... could we possibly avoid this? (while handing over R20 or perhaps R40).
Not only does this safe money, but it also make the girl feel special. She is a wh*re after all and very much used to having to sign in. Just the fact that she does not have to do it at your hotel will make her feel special ... and as a consequence she will give you better GFE.
You do do the money transaction right before you leave for the terma or right after you come back. (Usually the girl does not leave L'uomo with you, but comes to your hotel independently. I wait for them in the lobby and then walk out to meet them when they arrive.) Then, when the girl arrives, you walk in with her, and with a friendly wave to the doorman you get into the elevator, and you are good. Usually the hot kissing already starts during the elevator ride.
Who do I recommend? My personal starting point would be either Ingrid or Chris. But what I really recommend is that you find somebody who turns you on, and who you develop good chemistry with.
My usual game plan is that I just hit the terma on the first evening and pick whoever my dream girl will be; then I make sure I spend a lot of time with her and only session once, and only with her. Then I leave L'uomo for the night. (If you want, you can still do a night cap at another place.) Euro100 thanks for your interesting post, I am sure it can helps more than one to get even a better GFE with the termas girls, but, please, allow me to ask you why such a serious warning ? Why neither change e mail address to start a corrispondence and make easier to meet her during the next travel to Rio ? What are afraid exactly giving us this advice ?

Excellent idea on what you are saying. Just my two cents though. Why bother going through all this in staying in a Hotel when you can rent an apartment and not have to deal with this 'guest issue'? If one is a newbee, they will learn that renting an apartment is sooo much better than staying in a Hotel. Hotel rules drove me nits the first time I went to Rio. Ever since then I stay in an Apartment. One trip I even stayed at a GDP's apartment for a week because she became my Amiga during the recent two trips. It was great.

Unless you need a roof top pool, there is no reason to stay in a hotel. Every apartamento has a security guard/doorman sitting at a desk in the lobby, there are some serious condos to rent in Copa/Ipanema if you want luxury as well as privacy.
I only stayed in a hotel my first trip, and have always rented an apartment for my stay in Rio.
Leave a tube of Lidocaine butt lube and a few condoms out on the nightstand, and your GDP will feel like a princessa when she arrives to your crib!

Yeah, sure. Apartment may work better. But I was asked about a hotel; so I answered. I also like hotels, because they change my sheets, make the bed, clean the room, re-stock the fridge, have wireless internet, and so on.
Guest fee is not much of a problem in my book, but each of us has different boundary conditions.

Oh, I use an email address and give it to the GDPs. I also give the girls my phone number and of course my name. Just not my real ones that I use in civilian life. This way I can decide if I want to end this affair or let it go on. Once I am out of Rio, they cannot follow me.

Anybody go to the Arch of Teles in Centro. Its supposed to be on Praca XV. They say its an awesome place to go and hang out in Centro for Happy Hour. Tons of chics non working and pro. I hear its backstreets of outdoor bars and restaurants of people sitting at tables and hanging out having fun literally in the ally ways.

Yes it scares even if, I always use condom and the only one I wanted to see again, neither wrote me e mail, but I understand you, better to not undervalue what can do a woman in love, or with a big interest, no matter if she lives on the other part of the world. ;)
