When it comes to Football, you should never worry while in Thailand, Thais bet enormous amounts of cash on games so they need these games to be broadcasted "live".
You will always find a channel that plays the games. If your Hotel TV is not convenient, head to an after hours bar (like the one on top of Foodland, Soi 5) and they'll let you enjoy the game on their TV, serve you snacks and Beer!

It is very common that once there is a problem with one girl at any establishment....then the rest of the crew play some sort of solidarity routine and refuse to go with you. Similar things happen in normal business deals and I am surprised you did not realize this. For example, you have a problem with a distributor of some product and the deal goes bad.....if you discuss the details with another distributor and tell him you have some sort of factory rebate coming as a result of the first distributor's bad act.....I can guarantee that an eyebrow will be raised (because the guy believes the same problems might develop again). He might not want the deal to go through if he perceives that you are a tough customer and sweat every detail.....even though you might be 100% right and the first distributor was a rip off, culo. The act of walking off on the bar bill borders on insanity. You are a visitor in a foreign county, one where the locals fight a guy 10 to 1 (and are willing to kill over a bar bill by the way)....and whor ing down Soi Cowboy. I think under the circumstances most of us would have paid and said a nice "fuck you" to this place. Don't go back to this area now.....Thais are like elephants when it comes to a walk off.....because the server is going to have to pay the bar bill.

Hard but probably very good advice. I once had a problem with some girl in J One soapy MP and after that other girls refused to go with me for some reason unknown to me. But obviously the first girl had concocted some bullshit about me. Even if they didn't believe the story they had to give solidarity to her.
So the only answer was to move on to another better venue.
These days, if a girl gives me a bad time, I may cancel early, but I never bad mouth her or even blame her. The worst thing that usually happens is that after a refusal is that there is still some chance remaining in the future if you behave yourself. The problem is that soon she will see you taking some other woman and blow any remaining chances, if indeed there truly were any chances remaining.
