Not to create any panic, but thought I will share this info as it might help us be better prepared. I was in a dinner party yesterday (work related). The spouse of one of my colleagues is a high ranking govt official (who works closely with LE). I was generally chit chatting about the law and order situation in Kerala. He mentioned that the recent headlines (models death, busting of rave parties, multiple drug cases) etc. Has put enormous pressure on LE to act and show some quick results. Since many of these cases involved models, actors, young girls etc, the media is carrying these news with a lot of aplomb (they get a lot of views for such news). The moral brigade is apparently out and there is govt level pressure on the LE higher ups. Just yesterday, there was another news of a young Model who died in a car crash at 3 am. She was with 2 guys and all 3 of them were apparently drunk.

The guy mentioned that there is a possibility of a strong action against 'all immoral activities". He did not mention Spas specifically, and I did not ask or show a lot of interest, as I was in my real profile.

Maybe just a scare. I don't even know how much that guys really knows or if he is just showing off. Either case, be a bit careful while mongering. No need to stop visiting Spas or anything, but be aware of the surroundings.

Also, many of the Spas have become very reckless. Don't know what happened to the age old practice of not discussing extras on phone. I recently pinged a new Spa (I found on Just dial in Milk-Rice-Circle) asking about massage. They sent me a full Menu with rates. Different rates for HJ, B2 B, FS etc. How careless. Another Spa I pinged asking about rates for massage. Their reply was "2000 rupees. Come sir, we have college going students! These are not scamsters, I pinged them after I saw the physical location of the Spas.
