Adabraka is a wild place, I do not recommend the Presidents Hotel. You will be better off at either the Niagara or the Beverly Hills Hotel...Beverly Hills being the better. Be ready for the young locals that raise hell all night long in the streets in that area--'nothing dangerous for you, just noisy, and interesting. I remember not being able to sleep and watching from my window at 3:00AM in the morning--all these young guys showing off for the young ladies. All these guys on their Motoscooters pulling willies, back and forth all night...and the young girls milling about laughing and having fun.

Another place I do NOT recommend is Paloma Hotel--'but I do recommend Champs Sports Bar located in the same compound, especially on Friday nights. Usually I recommend others to get on a bus and get out of Accra and go to Kumasi, to Vienna City, but the place has changed hands, the new owners are complete idiots from Croatia. The place was once an Oasis, now I dont now what it is, it has lost its charm.

Some places you may want to see is the Osu area, University of Ghana (Legon), lots of college girls, and Lapaz area (known as Hong Kong by the locals), the latter being a bit gritty.

My advice to you is to head down the coast to Busua.

You may want to try Karava's (I believe thats the name), just down the street from Vienna City. Other places are Yegoala Night Club close to Kejetia Circle...the Foxtrap Nightclub next to the Prempreh Assembly Hall on Maxwell Road. The Old Timers Bar below the Hotel de Kingsway on saturday nights. The best place for live Highlife music is the Jofel Resturant near the Airport round about...and maybe the Spice Nightclub and Bar at Santasi Circle.
