Saw some of the pictures in this thread and holy. I didn't know how badly I needed to add South Africa to my list. At least somewhere in Africa. Back then all escorts also offered massage and most were pretty good at it, too. They just charged the same as with full service so I never just did a rub / tug.

In terms of locals, I'm in the US and I regularly get matched with South Africans (specifically) on Bumble and that's without even trying. Not so much on Tinder, but that may be due to location settings. At any rate, I don't think you'll have any shortage of local women matching with you on either app.

That said, my experience with locals in South Africa is that they're very clingy and don't always put out. I'm a 40-year old American expat living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on a retirement visa but intend to relocate to South Africa in early-2024 on a permanent residence permit as a retiree. That said, I'd like some insight in terms of how easy is it to meet normal women in Johannesburg and / or other major cities in SA? Also, how do the younger women (mid-20's to early-30's) view relationships with older men in my age range (40-45)? I'd greatly appreciate any info anyone can offer.

Women are fine with older relationships, but do keep in mind, if you're an older white man and looking to date younger attractive black women then you may run into a few issues here and there as some girls don't want to seen as sugar babies publicly and the biggest tip off is a white older man and younger black lady.

But generally speaking, go to the right lounges, social spots and you'll see women in spades.

By the way, I'm African-American and so I appreciate the tip on race and relationships. That's part of the reason I'm moving to South Africa to be honest. Long story short, Brazil has been a nightmare for me due to its issues with racism / colorism. It's easy to meet women here but it's everything else that's the problem. It's one of those places that's great for a temporary stay but once you live here everything changes. Anyway, I'm just looking for a new country where I can live without always looking over my shoulder with concerns about xenophobic and racist locals, crime, and thereat there's a high quality-of-life. Along with beautiful women. I've chosen South Africa mainly due to the high standard of living and modern infrastructure although I still don't know much about the women there. I tried doing some scouting using Tinder and other dating apps just to see what the women look like but the results have been very disappointing thus far. It seems like attractive women (in South Africa) don't use dating apps because all I predominately see are 'big girls' looking for a date. I won't lie that does concern me a bit but at this point my first priority is improving my quality-of-life versus the mistake I made with moving to Brazil with women as the priority.

Just kidding my man. I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm also in the US and black outside of making good money, US offers less and less for us. African continent with good funds offers more in terms of quality of life.

South Africa I think you'll be good for, especially Joburg / Jozi. Very cosmopolitan and good infrastructure. Best of the West but the freedom of Africa. And you, as a black man, should do well granted you dress well, are in decent shape and know how to talk to women. People speak English here so much better than Brazil, DR or Colombia that other black folks are flocking to.

South Africa is good to relocate but there will be crime and this is still a racist society. Difference is the black far out number the whites. And you, as an American, will be somewhat shielded from the issues native black South africans face. I suggest an 'in between' type of set up where you spend like 8 months in SA then 4 months across maybe the US and some other location.

Now onto SA women. SA is known for having some of the curviest if not curviest women in the world. Google 'Tits in Tops South Africa' and just follow that thread to see what I'm talking about. They are thick but you will see a lot of BBWs and SSBBWs, even if they have the shape (thick thighs, phat ass, big boobs), so just know that. But there are still a plethora of slim thick chicks out there.

With dating apps, the same rule applies in SA and in any other country. The best of the best women won't be there for long or usually aren't on there. The top tier chicks you'll usually just see on ground (malls, clubs, social venues etc). Africa is still largely boots on the ground type thing. Think about it, a 10/10 chick doesn't need to stay too long at a bar before someone chats them up.
