A quick note to a PM as to why the earlier setup mentioned was 'fishy' by nature.

1. To 'walk away' from a deal is always the right of a monger. It is not just the gal 'look' (young and cute?) that matters. It can be the color, size, shape, dress, hygiene, location settings, privacy, neatness, security and a host of many other variables that an individual's brain automatically process and assigns weightage when you are in a new surrounding. (Johnny interferes with the assessment also).

2. This business model is like you are either relieved of your money which is 'mugging' in its purest form (bait and trap), or will be threatened to perform thereby making you also an unwitting 'partner' in the transaction. (it takes guts and enormous pains to follow thru with an official complaint with LE, if you ever get involved in the second scenario - including medical tests and loss of face, to build the case).

3. Number of shots in 3 hr (min) and 10 hrs (full) NOT specified - It can be just one shot, if you don't bargain upfront. And you will have to be a real 'energizer bunny' to run the full 9 hrs and 59 minutes before the release, to make real value for the money, if it is a "one shot only" deal. (This is a 'Too good to be true', in terms of the duration specified, even if it is unlimited pops)

4. There is no real business sense, if the cost is the same for the ST as well as an LT deal (unless this is some sort of a charity service!).

5. 2 guys sharing a gal at the same time? - very, very high risk behavior. There is no prediction model for the flow/transfer of bodily fluids in a real 3-some.

6. "No English and little Tamil speaking" - in a predominantly Tamil state.

The first 2 reasons itself are sufficient to call for a 'no-deal'. ;)

Also what's a good hotel that you recommend to stay at during my travels? My apologies if I'm sounding like a broken record. I have not therally Rtff for India. Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated.

Mate. Do check with senior 'Beer Belly' (hopefully, he still logs into ISG. He is back in the US now as per his latest status update). He is one friendly person that I know in this forum who is not an Indian or a PIO (Person of Indian Origin). Do check his reports too. Hopefully, there are enough PoVs that he has put in, based on his experience. (Indian PoVs will rarely make sense to you, unless you spend time here in India - assuming that you are from Dominican Republic, based on your reports).

Need to know some more specifics to pass a judgment upfront as to whether you will be a 'Total Failure' or just a 'Failure' in the Chennai Mongering scene. :)

- Skin Color?
- Familiarity with Indian English accent (and British English usage)?
- Budget (a.k.a cattle class or backpack), Economy or a Business Class traveler?
- Familiarity with any other country in Asian continent?

Here is one FR that I had promised before, with the recent updates. (caution - might read like a 'made-up' storyline, but some senior mongers in this forum can back this up and it is definitely not a good feeling, with so many mistakes that were made!).

Had got the contact number from a non-ISG reference. Called him up. His English was close to pathetic. Switched to Tamil and he spoke like a true native Tamil speaker. It was then my turn to do somersaults with my Tamil language. The guy gave many options including across two state-lines, bordering Tam!lnadu. The rate was 5K for ST. The guy gave an impression of having weak armor, but never actually exposing any chinks in the armor (a good price negotiator to have on your side!) - he just refused to go below the 5K, without ever cutting out of the deal making process. Decided to check him out with the intention of walking away, with the assumption that the quality would be not to my taste (Mistake #1) or reneg on the deal in-person (Mistake #2).

Picked the "X" place from the list of options provided. Was asked to reach the place anytime/anyday and give him a call. (huh? - this 'no-slot' business model was certainly unique for me).

Reached the place and called him. He said his 'brother' will pick. Another call by another person asking me to describe my dress. After sometime, an 18/19 yo neatly dressed kid came and asked if I had received a call recently and asked me to read out the number back to him.(huh? - so complex setup?).

Then asked me to follow him at a distance to a posh apartment nearby. The kid opened the apartment door with a key - and the whole idea of reneg-ing in-person fell flat. (you cant negotiate with a caretaker; someone who is that low in the value chain). The kid called the gals. A Southie - good. but nothing new. Another one from North - very fair, slim, with slight NE features with ample exhibition of cleavages with something that looked more than a handful. (Mistake#3 - Realized later that it was just a dress prop). That was when Johnny played his trump card. (Heard later that the Northie was re-packaged as "model" material to lure the poor monger).

Selected the Northie. Gave the kid the 5k. The kid confidently asked for another 500 more. 'what for?' I inquired sarcastically and the whole confident demeanor in the kid just drained out. He did not pester. LCD TV setup in the bedroom and the room chilled to below 25C. The gal came in with TV remote and the package. Started the session. The gal then reminded that it was 1 shot only. (Mistake#4 - Missed this point in the negotiation). Tried to slow things down, but never could regain the focus, for missing out such a critical parameter in the negotiation. Finished the deed quickly and walked out disappointed for playing all the wrong cards (well, some you win, some you loose!). But the worst was yet to come.

Gave out the contact to some of the 'best negotiating senior mongers'. 5k remained 5k. but there was some change in T&C - BJ release followed by Shot release. But later got alerted on SMS by one of the mongers on the possibility of CAM in the bedroom. Got really rattled there. But, the saving grace was the low lighting in the room. Even the sophisticated IR/Night-Vision cam would have made a mockery of the recording when you look at "physics of lighting". (Mistake#5 - should have done the required checks being in a totally new place. Being totally paranoid would have really helped). Other more cautious folks have not reported anything untoward in that place.

Well, need to make one more run to the place, just for rechecking this place myself, when time permits. :(. Hopefully, it was all just an illusion. BTW, yet to get any ransom calls also. :) Location/Additional details sharable with other senior folks who would want to 'dust this place'.

Well, will have to write-it off as a false alarm. Multiple folks have visited, double checked and verified the place and was not able to figure out what had actually spooked out one of the mongers; well, it is always better to be safe than to be sorry, with these devices that come in all sizes and shapes these days, even if it was only a false alarm.

IMHO, keep your eyes open for any unfamiliar stuff, even if you are in a familiar environment. Do pick up any 'unfamiliar' and suspicious objects along with the storage device (trace to the end of connecting wires, if any - unless it is a self contained object!), when you leave the place (there is no way, you can win an argument by producing this as evidence to the p!mp). JUST DONT LEAVE IT THERE! (You will encounter large 'unmovable' devices only if you are "performing" in a film studio).

The key to watch out will be for the lighting in the room; but, you cant start everything in darkness without taking a quick check on the environment and the gal too. Being paranoid about these, really helps :)

Well, it is time to close this chapter and to heave a sigh of relief :). Hopefully (but not realistically!), a better "checklist manifesto" next time.

UI called for a mallu serial actor (will use the correct linguistic usage of the word "actor" for both male and female) at 6K for ST.

hmm.. UI and serial actor ? - That would be like oil and water. ;)

My initial guess was he would have picked something better and is white-labeling her as 'serial actor'. Declined it. (Later, one of the fellow mongers alerted that UI told that the gal was like "A5!n", and he also had rejected saying he never liked "A5!n"). (no offense to A5!n fans!) ;)

However, UI called again the next day saying a 'good friend' has come (might be the relabeled 6K again). Decided to check it out as there were no changes to my "normal rates" (2.5K) and yet again having boredom for company. Reached the place. The 35+ lady had mustache, visible from 10ft away (even with my poor eyesight) and a large pot-belly. Rejected the deal, straight away. Turned to UI; he looked quite sheepish, but quickly added "super company, sir!" as his last-ditch effort. :)

Congratulated UI on hitting "rock-bottom" and consoled him that the only way forward is to go up now. (yeah. I love to pull his leg once in a while; I have to admit that I do have a soft-corner for folks who are actually "gifted", but destiny never gave them a chance, in spite of their efforts! - This guy can speak 6 or 7 languages as fluent as a native speaker, but unable to write or read majority of these and is also a natural salesman!). UI as usual stood there nodding his head and smiling as stupidly as possible at my remarks. :)

There was nothing else for me that day, other than TV and a good bottle for company. :)

Sadly my brains seemed to be in my dick and not my head any way she loved doing doggie so was spared the sight of the mouche and she had a nice ass to compensate. Paid UI the usual 2. 5 k and tld him will not come again unless he has some thing better to offer.

Ever came across people with same names? Well, everyone would have. But has anyone come across people with same names and doing the same job and claiming to be the same person? I know that I got you this time :). I got lost in the maze of names last night while dealing with a provider. For anonymity reasons, let’s call this provider ‘Suraj’.

Confirmed my appointment on a number on which I had spoken to Suraj couple of days back and reminded him about his promise to reduce the per hour charge, which he accepted after long moans and groans. I was aware of his location so thought of reaching his place and giving him a call but something prompted me not to. Just before I started, called Suraj and to my surprise, the same voice which whom I had spoken said that Suraj was not in. Thought maybe his brother with very close genetic make-up. Immediately called a fellow monger to get Suraj’s alternate number. Was glad to get Suraj on this number however, was totally confused as the voice sounded very young, of an 18 year old boy in fact. He asked me to wait near a popular jewel shop on North manUs Road, which I knew was not his location. Thought maybe he has multiple bases and in anyway was not complaining as long as the deal was over on a good note. But this ‘young’ Suraj's voice was still disturbing me.

Reached the rendezvous point and while confirming this with the young Suraj, I started receiving a call on the other line from the first number which I had called earlier. This time the real Suraj was speaking and told him about the ‘young’ Suraj. Although he seemed a bit lost after my narration, he did not deny that it was him on both the numbers!!! What heck!!! How can that happen???

He asked me to wait for some time when I saw a well dressed guy waiting for someone sitting on his bike next to me with his helmet on. Found him amusing as he was looking more like an astronaut who had missed his spaceship and didn’t know what to do. Nevertheless, received call from another number and this time again, it was Suraj but with a squeaky voice. He recited my vehicle number and trust me I was getting a bit nerved as there was no one near me except the lost astronaut and the light was too dim for someone to read the number plate clearly from a distance. That’s when our astronaut made his entry as the pick-up boy, although not taking off his helmet still! Was wondering what else was in store.

I was made to wait for some more time for a reason which I still do not know. Struck a conversation with the astronaut (helmet still on) and he told that he worked for Suraj who was the owner. Few minutes later, got impatient and decided to call Suraj but confused on which number. Picked the second number and moved aside from the astronaut thinking he will definitely not like me shouting at his master. Things resolved and I was directed to his original location (what a waste of time) but on my way was wondering on how close the astronaut and the real Suraj’s voice resembled. Soft, polite and a well-to-do slang. I never saw the astronaut talking on his phone or did not see the swirl of the hands-free wire running into his helmet so chuckled away my imaginations.

Reached the place and while on the lift, the astronaut removed his helmet for the first time and I told him jokingly, “So this is how you look” and he too smiled a bit. What I also noticed was him slipping a small phone into his pocket which seemed to be fit correctly between his ear and the helmet.

Was completely freaked out and immediately decided to test him as I remembered that the real Suraj was not comfortable speaking in English. This time I was not surprised that our astronaut could not mutter anything more than yes, ok, Tamil?

Had a nice session with the girl, who, inspite of the rules of 1 shot/session, allowed me to go for a second one.

Was laughing all the way back on what happened that evening and as I told this to another senior monger concisely, could not expect a better response more that the word, ‘complicated’.

Nice report mate. I always check for hidden Cam and prefer a room without TV and other stuff. Most of the cams are hidden in dummy TVs, behind the mirrors or inside the set-top box. I turn them off and sometimes pull the wire out (instincts). Chennai is not as safe as Bnglr, Mumbai or Kolkata since most of the hidden cam videos are made in Chennai/south. So beware and check the room. But 5k in Chennai sounds a bit costly. For 5K you could have visited some pub in Chennai, get drunk, invite some chick, get her drunk and have 2-3 shots. Seriously. Anyways its almost a year or more that I had any action in Chennai. Will visit Chennai soon and report back.
