I have the impression that it is often after a show on stage (by them), then they walk around offering (insisting) on lady drinks. So usually a bit late in the evening. They are easy to recognise because they carry trays full of little shot glasses. You need to watch your costs and communicate firmly with them if you engage. E. g. "I will pay for 1 lady drink for this girl, but not more. " They are often good at enticing your or winding you up. Personally I don't find it particularly interesting.

May 2022 I stayed in Jakarta for a few days. The entire stay was in classic Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of girls that where available and the pricing. Took tried 6 girls in total. All below 25 and offered a similar service. Not exeptional but great for the amount paid. The hotel was nothing special but acceptable.

The only downside was the annoying old women stalking you during the entire experience. My Bahasa is good enough to tell them to leave me alone. They still would not take the hint. I just want to sit down and spoil my eyes with the girls that keep walking through the joint.

So all in all a great experience but could be better.

I return to Jakarta this next week (25th), is there another place like classic where I can actually book a room? I see a lot of places that are named hotels but do not appear on any of the bookingwebsites.

Is it possible book a room at King Cross, Hotel Travel or Malio Hotel? And are these hotels comfortabel?

Saw that be fashion hotel has rooms available on Agoda. Does this place also have a concept like classic where you can sit down, watch the talent and take them to a room? Or they only offer the massage package?

I was also wondering what the current prices of king cross are. Seen some reports from 2018 but is that still the same?

They are possibly more expensive than other spots in Jakarta but it's a nice hotel and very simple to dip in and dip out with ladies on tap that speak English.

I was more a stay in the Mulia, but go to BATS in the Shang-ri-la kind of guy. Had to stay in the Mulia (what a hardship) as it was the company hotel, but found BATS a lot better. At least you could see the girls. Found CJ's was just way to dark, you had to get in the girls face to have a good look at her. Shang-ri-la is probably a cheaper option as well, stay wise.
