I know there are lots reports of pickpocketing and the like in Rio in Copa, but after reading 100's of pages in this thread, haven't really heard too much that SP is something to worry about. While Colombia CTG / MDE / BOG is totally different.

It really depends on where you are. There's no big city that is considered safe in the world in comparison to smaller cities. It's just a characteristic of urbanization. Tokyo Japan might have lower crime than other big cities but if you compare it to other smaller cities and Japan then it's a lot higher rate. The West zone is safer than the E-Zone in Sao Paulo so I would stay there where there is a lower risk of crime.

I don't think scandalo is that great either. I enjoy the club more than the girls there because that place only attracts a certain type of girls and not a lot stay there for long. It has a very very very high turnover rate. Especially now that the prices for them increase to 300 to enter, they are now charging or asking more than before to make it worth it for them to come. Also by increasing the client entrance fee, it also decreases the amount of customers that they see at night. Before, a girl told me that she was able to see multiple clients at night but now it's about just one therefore inflation at this club is a lot higher for everyone. A lot of the girls who were regulars before have now gone somewhere else.

Quick question. I just spent 10 days in Rio and several of the girls told me that they leave in early May and do not return until late September / October due to weather and lack of clients. Other mongers told me that RJ is not really worth visiting during the off months due to so many fewer girls. My question is, does SP have seasonality in terms of # of girls in the same way as RJ? My guess if 'no' due to it being a mega global city with constant business visitors, unlike RJ, but thought I'd check. Even when I'm dating in the US I notice that there are more women on apps during the summer than winter, at least in cities with seasons like Chicago and New York.

It wasn't because of a dearth of talent. Oh no, that wasn't it at all! I had a blast, but I really didn't like the chilly weather, especially because my hotel lacked adequate climate control (among other problems like being in the airport's flight path). Taking a girl up to the room or taking a girl for a "saida" out of the club can result in 10-15 minutes wait on line at the hotel / saida cashier!

I've been to all of those other venues within the last 3-4 years, often multiple times. The QUANITY, QUALITY and VARIETY, in terms of height, shape, size (I've also seen a few "little people" at Scandallo), ethnicity, and looks (innocent, cute, model pretty, slutty, sensual, etc.), in Scandallo is unrivalled.

On any given night, you can find a hot girl with Caucasian, Irish / Scottish, Germanic, Latina, Western European, Eastern European, Slavik, Asian, Mulatto, and Black Features.

On a "classy" level, I also feel Scandallo wins out. You are more likely to find professional working models, artists, professionals, graduate students, higher-end sugar babies, etc. At Scandallo than those other venues. The club is also very posh and upscale, with a large selection of top shelf liquor and a nice restaurant offering varied cuisine, as well as a good sushi bar.

I understand some of the above venues are different in terms of setup, but at the end of the day, they all have a few things in common that I find useful and important:

1) You see the girls in the person (and in some of the other venues, totally in the flesh!

2) You have the option of buying them a drink and chatting them up and vet them.

3) It's basically a point and shoot situation, as few will turn you down outright, but a few still might do so.

Some might find it more challenging to go to Brazil. Some might prefer a cheaper venue. Some might prefer a venue that has a higher percentage of darker skinned girls. Some might prefer a venue with mostly "trashier / sluttier" girls (although plenty of those in Scandallo too! I just want to add my experience to your post:

I have gone to Scandallo around 20 x and I do notice a difference in how I'am approached quantity and quality of women wise based on how I dress and carry myself. The times I came in looking more hood / street with backward baseball cap and wife beaters got the lower tier girls approaching and hotter ones not even responding. Come in dressed up with a nice collar hugo boss shirt and pleaded pants its night and day.
