Great report Natty. Like you said, mostly Asian (Japanese from my observation) customers in those places nowadays. They really love the Gogo's. I believe they do have a tendency to overpay for the services they get. But, they have the money so be it.

On the topic of overpaying in Gogos. How much do you guys pay then? I'll admit I don't negotiate. I go to the more expensive bars (Rainbow, Bacarra) and I pay 2000 ST (if the service is good). How much do you guys pay? Tell us what you get away with, and in which bars. Do you have a strategy eg offer less if you are a regular, or if it's late and a quiet day?

Last June I got a very hot spinner from Suzie Wong for less than 2000 baht LT (tip included, she was that good) , but then it was after 10PM and business was slow.

Even in Rainbow. Not sure if it still can be had. I am not going to places where they charge 150+ baht for a beer. That is a day's salary for some locals.

Of course I only ask that when I'm already pretty confident that it's the right girl.

BUT at an oily I have no problem dishing out 2100 baht for an hour and a half of GREAT service.
@Rocksof: we are talking 1500 ST correct? I've had that as well, you are right that it's not that hard. But let's specify the bars as well. I've never tried negotiating in the Rainbows although I'm sure it's doable, just never been bothered to. In Mandarin, Erotica and the second-tier bars, I have and it worked. Where did you get your 1500 ST and when?

Don't ask "how much? Make an offer to her. Otherwise the baseline for negotiation is set by her and not you.
Explain "I pay B1200 for short time" or something like that. Smile when you say it and expect that she will accept. If she.
Doesn't want that price she may say "B2000" and you can counter and say "I can only pay B1500". If she does not agree then.
Pleasantly say "sorry too much for me. Thank you".
Smile and be friendly the whole time and if it goes sour, be polite and thank her anyways. Then find one who will accept.
I don't think the stunners will do anything less than 4k LT and 2K ST. In fact, some girls will not do LT when they can do ST 5-6 times per night. That's why its best to go early on and not be the last in line, smelling some dude's funk lol

This isn't at any particular time of the evening, not especially late. I've had 2000 LT at Afterschool and Long Gun or Rawhide (I always mix them up). I've also been offered 1000 ST at Long Gun or Rawhide, forget which. Fanny's has some rugged girls, but they also sometimes have cuties. Last time I was in Silver Star soi 7 in Pattaya, after 1AM, I was offered 1000 LT, as reported.

Whether you like Young or old, Dark skinned or light, Slim or chunky then just look around and you will be a "happy bunny" in BKK."
Even if you fancy a change from the local Asian girls there are opportunities to find Africans, Russians and even the occasional European girl to "ring the changes!"
I have NEVER been disappointed during my trips there!
I would go as far as to say that, in MY opinion, if you can not find a GREAT time in BKK than you will not have a good time ANYWHERE!
