Has anybody been to Cebu recently and had luck online? I've been here about a week and have had no luck pulling girls from PinaLove, Dateinasia or OKcupid for fun. I had two legit dates so far. However, you are correct: it does take some time to get the lay of the land and start getting laid. You're certainly not the first complaint I have received about struggling to find the first fuck.
My recommendations are:
1/. Don't have desperate newbie written all over your face and scare the girls away when you first arrive. Drop your pride and fuck anything that walks if you need to so that you don't glare at any female walking past.
2/. Stay somewhere central and easy to find. Traffic is as bad, if not worse than Manila, so don't have girls lost or miles away trying to find you.
3/. Cebu is a city, a island and a province. When she says she is "in Cebu" she could be around the corner or 9 hours away. To save wasted time always ask early where she is.
4/. Cebu City is full of immigrant workers and students. They are often away from home, living alone in boarding houses, and don't have prying eyes watching over them. These are prime candidates to be looking to earn fast cash. The girl studying or working all day then returning home to mom and the family may be reluctant to run out and suck a dick for $20. Again, ask early what living conditions are.
5/. When you get started, friends and family programs work well in Cebu. Everyone has a cousin or a friend who is broke. It's not unheard of for a girl to bring a security blanket friend to coffee and end up fucking both of them.
Most of all have patience and don't run away after the first night.

The bad news is that sending bus fare before even meeting is the oldest scam in the book and there is no way to pre pay a bus or ferry ticket nor buy one in someone else's name. The only trustworthy option is to send a Grab for girls who live close enough. If you do send travel money it's a real risk. Expect to loose those funds many times before one actually works. Most guys have given up in sending travel money to new girls.
Don't discount the value of platonic first dates. Many girls need to be seen as good girls first. Play the game and she will often return alone and say thanks on the second date. Obviously, don't let it turn into a free ride of ten P2000 dinners. The same for the chaperone. She's there in case you are a psycho, so she can look pure as snow or maybe she is a little nervous. Regardless play the game, behave yourself and she will appreciate it the next time. It's not unheard of for the chaperone to later make contact herself. Not as common, but it does happen, is that maybe the intended target isn't really into you so brings a friend who is more inclined to meet a new special friend.
In all cases just go with the flow, stay flexible, and make the most of what ever opportunities present themselves.

I'll freely admit I'm a Cheap Charlie but I've also been doing some comparison shopping recently to check on any options besides the Philippines. Of course, Thailand jumps to mind. However, most guys are paying, give or take, THB 2500 for a ST. That's over P4000.
Makes the Philippines seem ridiculously cheap.
Madagascar and Africa can be cheaper than PI but the sunk costs of travel etc need to be added in.

But in Pattaya the going rate for a ST is 1500 Baht, and that is more often than not including BBFSCIP.

Again, apples for apples, a Pattaya freelancer is broadly equivalent to an AC / provincial freelancer for whom 1500 THB /2600 PHP would be considered very generous for a ST. A decent negotiator would pay that for LT in the Phil's.
Note I'm not pricing to 6 decimal places. Just a broad observation at how cheap the Philippines can be vs other countries.

Hi Guys, I've had numerous messages asking me how the hotel doorman / security guard approach has worked for me.
So I'll share the general approach.
Basically I'm friendly with them the moment I arrive. I slip them small notes a lot of the time.
When I'm on the hunt, I usually just ask if they know any pretty girls and tell them I don't particularly like the bar scene.
In the past they've lined me up with girls and shown me their Facebook for approval in advance.
I say yes, they arrange it, tell me her price and I head to the room.
When the security guy delivers the girl to my room I simply slip him on average 500 pesos in a handshake.
I've never had to negotiate a price with the doorman or security guy. They're getting my tip and I assume a cut of the payment I give the girl.
The most I've ever paid for a girl is 3000 p.
I'd just advise to ask in advance once the deal is done, if it's LT or ST.
I've had one ST in Manila for 3000 p and another overnight stay in Makati for only 2000 p plus an extra tip to the girl.

However, many people on ISG have the mindset that because someone is a decent negotiator then the chicks he gets are undesirable. They do not realize that what they are used to paying is as you said considered very generous for the location. But that is how rich foreigners think. I have never given an AC freelancer as much as 2600 pesos for LT and I have only given a Pattaya freelancer as much as 1500 baht for LT twice in 20 years.

The bulk of the freelancers (and I don't mean street-walkers) I've sought out in The Phils have been very desirable indeed and it's nearly always a LT agreement.
And they tend to be much better in the sack.
I realize that doing the bar scene is a lot easier and requires less groundwork, but damn you end up paying for it.
