I'm now back in Pattaya after taking a 2 week trip through Indonesia, of which I spent 4 days mongering in Jakarta. It was a welcome break from Thailand and although my trip was short and only scratched the surface, I learned a few things and had a good time. ISG is blocked in Indonesia and I did not care to get a vpn so I'm writing from memory, which is a bit fuzzy. Incidentally, although I'm now in Thailand, ISG is still blocked on the phone I tried to access it with in the country although not on my other devices so it seems traveling there places a permanent block that I do not know how to cleanse.

Was not pleasant, I don't recommend it although it has certain charms. The obvious pollution, congestion and squalor were balanced to some degree by Jakartans themselves who were extremely friendly to me. I saw very few other white guys during my trip- which highlighted my Caucasoid novelty- something Thai people have long since grown bored and leery of. Indonesians in other more touristy cities (Yogyakarta etc) were friendly as well but in a sinister and fake way as they have learned that white skin can be exploited.

I appreciate the Austronesia admixture that is at play in the phenotype and found the Javanese look to be very attractive- perhaps (if I may be so bold) the most of all South East Asian haplo-types. There is still pale skin for those of you hating on the darker girls and I feel like the girls in general are lighter than the men, or just take cosmetic measures to lighten their skin somehow. The bodies are sexy, petite, and slim just how I like them.

The Islam practiced in Java is of the "Traditionalist" variety that, despite sounding strict, is actually more flexible and chill than the "reform" type found in Sumatra and other parts of the country- meaning that decadent things can happen but they just need to be hidden away out of sight. Some women wear headscarves, some do not- it seems to be about personal choice. There are no dogs in the city as Islam considers them unclean which was a welcome change from the half-starved wraiths that slink around other Southeast Asian cities. You can hear prayers recited 6 times a day wherever you go broadcast from mosques.

I stayed at the Luminor Pecenongan which I don't necessarily recommend or not recommend. It was next door to Emporium. South of the National Monument is the most international part of the city with huge skyscrapers and big first class hotels. This area looks clean and a lot like any business district of a first tier city and wouldn't be a bad place to stay if you have the budget for one of those top tier hotels. From Pecenongan towards the ocean the city seems to get shittier although some Jakartans tell me there are some luxury areas in North Jakarta. The nicest part I visited was on my Tinder date in Cilandak which almost felt suburban.

[B]Hotels [/B]

The mongering concept here is the "Spa Hotel" which sort of reminded me of a deluxe version of Termas in Rio de Janeiro. Perhaps it's called a "Hotel" to give it plausible deniability, especially if there are actually rooms that are not all short-time as at Classic. I was surprised at how large and comprehensive a few of these establishments were- Malioboro, Classic and Emporium all have multiple levels with vast premises on each one. It looks like each floor is dedicated to its own thing whether it's a spa / massage, Karaoke Lounge, Nightclub, or Short time rooms. I take it there are also smaller spa / nightclub setups in different locations.

[B]Classic Hotel[/B]

When I entered the elevator, the attendant said "second floor?" and I nodded knowingly although I really had no clue. On entry I was swarmed by about 4 mamasans and just sort of broke through them lineback style although one had hooked herself on me and as I located the girls that were sitting on benches against the wall she was there, whipping out a little laser. I guess those were her girls. I went through a couple groupings of girls until I found one to my liking but overall I was impressed with the size and selection. Easily beats Pattaya in most measures or maybe I was just wowed by the novelty of it. A fee of 375 k was paid on the spot before I was ushered by her to a room past some pool tables. I had not been able to even get a beer yet so I asked for a large bintang and she got some lemon bintang and some cigarettes. I'm still not sure how one is meant to operate in this club but I managed to stumble through whatever established protocols to make it work.

In the elevator I saw the 2nd floor said "Spa" so I got off here and a gay dude mamasan type greeted me but said no girls were available because it was late. I explained to him my confusion and he explained- I guess you need to start on the second floor, and then once you get a girl take her to a room for "making love" with the option of then later going to the "club" or one of the KTV levels. It was all a bit elaborate for me. I told him I would return but never did.

[B]Malioboro Hotel[/B]

My experience at Malioboro was not as positive. Once I entered the bar some super smoking hot girls in fishnets swarmed me and we sat down. I bought one a drink and asked if she was available for boom boom, which she indicated she was. Some dude came by to make sure I knew the price and he showed me 3. 8 million on his phone / calculator and I almost spit out my drink. Um, no. So they explained to me they were "model" girls and were worth more than the others but could get the mamasan for me for some other choices-which is what happened.

The mamasan asked me if I wanted Indo or Foreign and I selected Indo and she summoned the lineup-which honestly was pretty weak. I almost said forget it, I'll just drink and grope the model girl (which would've been the correct choice), but picked the prettiest girl who was either 1. 2 or 1. 5 million, I can't remember. I know the total bill was about 1. 7 million when I paid downstairs after the fact.

My time with this girl was a disaster. She was very pretty but her attitude was too prissy and controlling. I can neither confirm or disconfirm any theses about BBFSCIP as my sample size of 3 was too small although it's not looking good. The rest of my trip was spent enjoying other scenic areas of Indonesia, which I enjoyed, but I'm glad to be back in Pattaya, which feels like civilization to me. I've lost a few pounds because Indonesian portion sizes are so small and I did not drink alcohol at all although I ended up sick with a cold.

Classic has always been my favorite for their straight to the business atmosphere. Good selection too. Emporium could be hit or miss. Try king Cross next time. Slightly cheaper joint than Malioboro. I never liked Malioboro and I don't think I ever will just because of their want to be upscale and rip people off setup. I preferred Alexis but that's long gone.

Travel is another decent setup though last time I was there, collection wasn't as good as I was expecting.

I had a quick trip to Philippines and that's changing too. Prices are going up and quality is declining. New trend that I came across among non-pros, they would take 3 k php just to hangout with you and drink and if they like you, they will spread their legs. Can't say all those php and uncertainty worth the whole BS but then others must be footing the bills or else why would they keep at it.

I retired from Thailand simply because of the flat chest and tiny bubble but why not go for a change. Might venture land of Sabai Dii in future.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck with the BBFS and the saggy old hangers. OS can confirm that BBFS is alive and well in Jakarta and you must have lucked out. Classic is not a place OS has had much luck with the no condom trick but there's plenty else out there, possibly a little more down market but be assured, there's plenty of girls out there as smoking hot or better than the models at Malioboro with none of the attitude, who will very happily accommodate your needs.

This time around Kelapa Gading is up on the priority list of "new" things to try, next to some of the known areas and possibly a few tinder dates if I feel I need some variation.

Not really a report, not really a question, but the aforementioned "holiday buzz" and reading through a few pages left me keen to leave a note Looking forward to see what else has changed in the last 5 years.

Thanks for the heads up. It's unlikely that I'll hit Kimochi this time around. From a MP view I have Kelapa Gading area higher on my agenda this time, since I haven't been to any of those places yet and am keen to give it a try. Besides from that Classic is a must (at least once) for old times sake and plan to give tinder and / or freelance bars a shot 1-2 times. Overall I like a good mix and let it play out. For me personally that approach is working out quite well usually.

If it was still around I would also have X2 on my radar for the non (respectively "less") pro scene for one night, but that for me at would only be an option with at least a wingman.

I visited Kartika in the spring of 2018 for the first time since 2009, many of the girls from those days were still working there and surprisingly remembered me and greeted me by name.

Back in Jakarta, I brought my laptop with me to my next visit to Kartika and spent the first 30 minutes showing my photos to the ladies in 3 different groups and answering their questions (luckily it was mid-afternoon and there weren't a lot of customers). Cynthia had worked at Kartika for over 3 years and had been close with many of the girls, so I apparently bought a lot of goodwill from making that visit. + This is a high volume place and the locals are primary Customers.
+ You have to choose a girl by looking at photographs; I hate this.
+ The girl I choose was polite. But she was firm on her rules: no fingering, condom required, no french kissing etc etc.

~BKKguru[/QUOTE]While I don't disagree with your points, actually my experience there was fairly positive still (note: dating back to, I want to say 2015 or so though). I had deliberately chosen the then famous "Number 33", who was known primarily for her voluminous breasts. The service in general was decent, but not great, but she did enthusiastically demand a finish on those breasts and did not disappoint in making that happen.

However, as mentioned all of your points in my experience are valid -and there are of course plenty of similar choices in Jakarta. For my next visit I will be focusing on Kelapa Gading area for similar establishments.
