So guys can pay the steep price if they think the girl is stunning enough to be worth the gamble. They usually aren't of course, a fancy outfit just hides the goods.

I don't think having significantly more money to waste, makes customers clueless. All these Japanese guys are regularly spending 4K on bargirls (in total). There is no difference if the girl is as good (may be doubtful).

I don't go taking street girls for 1000 Baht too often. They just are not good enough to waste my time on. I would pay 4000 Baht easily if the girl was hot enough.
