I just realized I made a flight booking to Bangkok / Pattaya including 13 to 15 April-Songkram time. From what I've heard, this is a mistake. You'll constantly get wet, run out of clothes, its very inconvenient at night and many girls go home.

Can anyone provide me with advice please about this? Should I change my plans as I am now thinking of doing, although not cheap to do so at all.

I was planning on being in Pattaya during 13 to 15, but maybe Bangkok is less wet?

And they have no compunction about using them OFTEN, but a foreigner uses one bad word in Thai and they freak. I find it amusing. BUT if you listen to even Hi-so Thais when they are talking in a group and drinking they use "wa" all the time with each other. Actually, they can be quite sarcastic and biting with each other!
