If youre wondering what the hell kind of name is Crwan...that place used to be called Crown Plaza, but it had nothing to do with the Crown Plazas in the rest of the world. It was just a cheap hotel calling itself the Crown Plaza. Then when the Holiday Inn changed its name to CP, the hotel in Exhibition became the Crwan Plaza, which is a shit name for a hotel...but thats Bahrain

The Aradous is in the middle of the Souk and is a dive. Last time I looked in, during a Souk pub crawl it had a bar with some very tired Thai WGs including at least one elephant. Lots of Indian punters, this shows the type of market it is appealing to. There might be a gem or two. I saw one with gorgeous tits but she would only go with her friend with a combined price of BD60 for the pair of them. The other half of the deal was pushy and not very appealing so I passed. Duos like that tend to be a bit of a rip off.

Better would probably be the Delmon hotel. The rooms are reasonably good (according to a friend who has stayed there on business) since they had a refit and it's right on the spot for Diggers, one of the biggest congregations of Thai and PRC WGs on the island.

By all means check out the Aradous, but I would probably not want to stay there more than short time.

As for Aradous, I would agree with EC except some comments he made. It is middle of the town hotel with access to old souk. May be your friend lives nearby. It is not a grand hotel, very old and you wont find very good choice of girls there, but there are many other places where you can go and have fun. I wont mind showing you around. Please do let me know.

I went to Diggers last night, it's rare that I go there. I was looking for a momasan that got kicked out of Cosmos. I didn't see her but I got stopped a couple times and had long talks with a few Chinese ladies, but I kindly let them go. I spotted a really sext Thai lady and talked to her, the place was going to close soon so she asked if I can take her home, well I had no idea what the going rate was for Diggers. She said 80BD longtime. I was shocked and I said in Juffair I pay 50BD longtime. Then I asked her how much for ST, and she says 60BD. I kindly went home Mr Lonely.

I checked into Aradous Hotel in the souq a couple of days ago. Nice place and good suite – like a small apartment. Good value. They wanted 30BD, but I negotiated to 22. Basic clean hotel, lots of clubs. But no internet. As Expatcat mentioned, the clubs on the second floor are dives. But the Pinay club on the top floor was great. Ironically, it's called Cyclone. Not a WG club - mainly Phillipino groups and couples.

Aradous Hotel was recommended by Miss M (one of the Filipinas I chatted up on myspace). She said she could come to my room discreetly from the top-floor Pinay club. She was right - all went according to plan. She arrived at the club around 1030pm. She's not a stunner, but not bad looking, and cute. 22 yo, petite and a great little bronze ass. She was a bit shy at first, but she warmed up fast after a Smirnoff Ice. The band was great - I fell in love with one of the very cute singers.

Miss M and I enjoyed the band a while, then went down to my room around midnight, ordered food, chatted, then fucked heartily during the night (and day). She’s a lot of work – she wouldn't stop talking - so I kept asking for BJs just to get the occasional 10 minutes silence. ;) Great blowjobs and passionate sex. But she's a bit manic.

May call her tomorrow night.

Suddenly, a bleached-blonde pretty PRC came out of the crowd to say hello excitedly and asked me why I was in Bahrain. I recognized her straight away. Her name is 'Honey' - a regular York Dubai girl who I took home one night about a year ago. Now she's on a five-day visa run in Bahrain. We chatted a few minutes then I let her get on with her work, and I left soon after. Had an early morning today, so no girl last night.

Moved to another hotel today for work. After a bit of work I'll pop down and check the clubs briefly, but I won't take a girl tonight. All work and no play until tomorrow night.

She said that despite the short period since her appointment as minister, she had been working hard to come up with new plans to promote family tourism.

"It has been just a few months since I took over, but I have come up with new executive by-laws to regulate hotels' operations and ensure that the industry becomes family-oriented.

"We have established a partnership with the community and they inform us about any violation they witness at hotels in their neighbourhood, and we immediately take action."

Mr Khalid said the country "doesn't know what family tourism means" and would never know unless the industry's working was revamped.

"Why has the ministry halted its plans to close down one- and two-star hotels despite knowing that they are source of most of the country's sleaze?

He praised Shaikha Mai's blueprints for family tourism and hoped they would be announced soon.

"I have seen the draft plans and I hope they become a reality, considering that everyone is desperate for family tourism - a dream that is yet to happen."

He said Shaikha Mai should co-ordinate with the Interior Ministry to combat sleaze at all tourist outlets, rooting them out from the source.

"Every day we hear about a racket with up to 50 people being caught, but the masterminds behind it are never arrested and that is why the problem keeps recurring again and again.

"I visited three hotels on Thursday night last week and, trust me, the scenes were far away from the family tourism the minister wants to see in the country.

"That's not all. Some sheesha shop owners have turned their places into sheesha bars, where alcohol is served and women dance as if it were a disco."[/quote]

Thanks, I guess I need to try one of the PRC's then. I haven't been with any here yet. I was grabbed in Diggers many times by the Chinese ladies too.

I think the Thai girl I asked qouted me a high price because she was chatting up with another guy, but maybe she preferred me to take her instead, but overall, she preferred the higher fee more. I also think I let her know I liked her a bit too much. All play a little hard to get next time.

I have just been informed that JJs has been closed . . . permanently ! This is the crackdown. I have no information about Diggers, but I suspect that SeaShell has been closed as well. This does not bode well for mongering, or even just drinking in the country. What the hell do the authorities think they're doing ? All the one and two stars that have bars are being closed with the threat of this escalating to the three and four stars.
Not good. Just wait till the reduced revenue starts to bite, especially over the weekends when the Saudis can't get a drink. . .
