Used to see TVs in entrance when walking by, and know that they congregate in the evening behind the theatre, next to the pond, looking for tricks. Guess that`s the old town for ya.

Kanda,I never lived near Ueno but I really like the area for cheap dining and shopping. There's an American Pharmacy at the station where I can get American over the counter meds and a Hard Rock Cafe, too. I actually like the museums and the motorcycle shops, too. I wasn't even aware there was an RLD on the other side of the boulevard until I started reading this list. Went to Sugamo last night. As I entered the street where the Pinks were, there were about 5 or 6 Yakuza checking me out. It was a bit awkward as I wasn't sure I should enter the street or not. I think it's there for historical purposes. Most of those places were probably once open to gaijin but the crossed arms went up when too many gaijin showed up after it got listed on that site.
