Alcohol takes its toll. Absolute nonsense to say they have 'paid their dues". They are drunken no gooders, no hopers on a mission to forget. Unfortunately they are so sad because they have Forgotten what they are trying to forget.
In the course of my 28 days in Pattaya, I learned many lessons. Here are some of them.
The first lesson (and it is easily forgotten because the girls can seem so lovely) is that while most of them will be happy to go with you, most of them will also be happier to leave with your money in their purse. Money is the only reason they make themselves available to go with you in the first place, be it in the bars or on the beach. It really doesn't matter if you are the reincarnation of Casanova himself, while they may enjoy their time spent with you, they plan to be with someone else the next day or the day after that. That is their business model. In fact, as I learned from one of the women I was with, going with Casanova involves more work than going with some fat, old, tired man who can't get it up because he drank too much. Better still is the man who comes quickly because the work is less tiring and time-consuming. The thing to remember, especially when it comes to those who seemingly offer the "girlfriend experience" is that you are just one of many and the sooner they have parted you from your money, the sooner they can part their legs for the next man in line.
The next lesson (and again it is easily forgotten because the girls can seem so lovely) is to try to avoid building up anything more than a superficial emotional bond. The shorter the encounter, the more easily this can be done. You will spend money very unwisely and in great quantities trying to win the affection of a seemingly lovely Thai woman. The fundamental reason is explained above: your are just one guy in a long line of guys and as much as they "like" going with you, the thing they like best is leaving with your money.
Third, don't waste money on frivolous items. Save your ammunition and use it wisely. Opinions vary, and this is just my opinion, but sex shows are a complete waste of time. Go Go bars hoover your money out of your pockets with drinks for you and the ladies, and the bar fines for the coyote girls are steep and the price the coyote girls demand for sexual intimacy is even steeper. Moreover, many of those same girls can be had later, for much less, at the discos anyway. Massage parlors that sell sexual services like hand jobs or blow jobs end up being very expensive: there is the equivalent of the bar fine if you want to take the girl away plus the cost of the massage plus the tip (and many of those service providers can also be had later at the discos, and for less). At beer bars, to get a girl, you end up paying the bar fine plus lady drinks for her and a bevy of friends plus you own drink costs (and those girls also go to the discos). Soi Honey massages where you can get done for 1,200 Baht are OK if you like fucking on a mat next to two other guys, one on either side, who are also fucking girls on mats. Like the sex shows, it is worth the experience, but once is probably enough. Soi 6 "short time" girls are OK if you prefer fucking a girl for 1,200 Baht on a bed in a nice private room, but you will be subjected to a girl faking orgasms in order to try and get you to come quickly so your place can be taken by the next guy, and of course you'll also be paying for the cost of drinks before hand. In my 28 days in Pattaya I made it into three or four "soapies" but never saw anything I liked given the steep asking price so I cannot comment on the sexual services from direct experience. Beach girls, on the other hand, while they vary in both the quality of their looks and their services, will usually get it done for you, often in the privacy of your own room, without any other ancillary cost like lady drinks, bar fines and so on for between 700 and 1,000 Baht.
In my experience, Beach Road girls offer the best value for money and the fewest complications if you're looking for a "short time" fuck in the early evening, by which I mean anytime before midnight. To each his own, of course, and Soi 6 exists because there is a demand for the services offered there. The same thing is true of Go Go bars, Soi Honey massage parlors and all the rest including the sex shows. They all exist and they all offer services of their particular type because there is sufficient demand to support those each one of those different business models. I've sampled them all. Others have their preferences, and I have mine.
For a simple, uncomplicated, early evening fuck, my preference is to walk along Beach Road. You can't always pick a winner, but the same is true in the other venues as well, and with those other venues, you'll invariably pay more without any assurance that you'll get more.
That said, in my experience, the best places to go in Pattaya to get laid late at night (and by that I mean between 2 am and 6 am) are the discos. To tap into this market, you need to be prepared to be active very late at night, but if you have the stamina, the benefits are prodigious. The freelancers go there. The Go Go girls go there after work. The bar girls go there. The massage girls go there. The best of the Beach Road girls go there too. For a red-blooded man of any age, the discos of Pattaya are like the proverbial Happy Hunting Ground from the lore of the North American Indian.
In a place like Insomnia which begins to hum as early as midnight, it is not uncommon to find the place filled 70% with women (with about half of them almost impossibly hot), 5% with ladyboys and 25% with falangs of various ages, body types, confidence levels and wallet sizes. And the girls who are there, with few exceptions, have as their primary objective the goal of getting one of those men to take them for the night and pay them for services rendered. The discos in Pattaya are like a collaborative effort between God and the Devil with God's contribution being the beauty of Thai women and the Devil's contribution being hip hop music and the way Thai women move their hips in response to it. The Devil chipped in the effect that alcohol has on them too. Opinions differ, but in my opinion, the discos of Pattaya are the place to be.
If your objective is to find love or romance, don't come to Pattaya (or any of the red light districts in Thailand for that matter). If, however, your objective is to get laid, then come to Pattaya, walk the Beach, choose carefully, enjoy yourself, then hit the discos and enjoy yourself again and let the fun reign until well after the sun has risen in the sky. Sleep during the afternoon. Then repeat.

I happen to be sixty years old and have enjoyed the past month in the company of twenty-five different women ranging in ages from their early twenties to their mid-forties. Have I found there to be a correlation between the looks of the women and how they performed in bed? In each and every case, you lay your bets and you take your chances, and in my experience the odds of getting one who's good in bed are no better and no worse on Beach Road than they are in any other venue. What is more, good looks do not guarantee good performance in bed. Paying more for girls also does not guarantee good performance in bed. I have, however, found a correlation between age and a girl's performance in bed. Day 2:
I was back in the town after a disappointing excursion by 3 pm. Sweaty and beat, I was in desperate need of a good wash and a real massage. Ended up in Honey2 again. Spotted Amm sitting in the crowd. I am also 60 and had 23 days back in November. Your experiences are dead on with my memories. I tried to taste all venues and your observations of the Thai ladies is right on. Some are fantastic actors when it comes to the session, but all that really matters is that they leave with your money. You are a superman of sex in my opinion, because in my trip I had 16 encounters and had to take a day or two off because I went dry. I'd be interested to know if you're planning to return to Pattaya. There is so much more of this world and its women for us all to explore. I am sure that other parts of the world have their attractions. I have been to a few such spots. I've been to Mexico. I've been to Russia and took pleasure there. I have been to the Philippines, including Angeles City (and was not much impressed to be honest). I hope to explore Cambodia and Vietnam in the near future. That said, I am fairly certain that there is nowhere else in this world that can offer a man the quality and the quantity of carnal pleasure that Pattaya can offer.

[/QUOTE]65 baht for a draft beer is not that much to spend in order to look for a top talent that might make your trip. Plus you really can't sit in your hotel room between finding girls on beach road. You don't have to buy ladydrinks for any girl or her friends, just the one you might want to spend some time with. As to being active at night, you should also consider your hotels location to said disco's. If your a few minutes walk to the disco's, you can easily check out the scene every so often and see if a jem's available. Another thing to consider is visiting in off season when the guys hunting are less and the women are more desperate to make a buck.
Would be glad if someone could suggest girl friendly hotels in 3 & 4 star category close to walking street. I plan to be there in the second week of May.
