Well. PAL is having their occasional seat sale. Or so it appears, Aug 15-31. Was browsing flights / prices, trying to fly from a southern island province to Manila, and return. Total flight cost (before choosing a seat, ordering a meal, or purchasing their insurance) is p13 k. Bit steep for a 70-minute flight on sale. See pics. Also check that ticketing service price, p900. Bit on the nose for a non-human, web purchase.

Buy the time you find a flight at their advertised sale price, you could have flown return from Manila to Europe.
And I'm a long time Mabuhay Miles member, not that it really means anything.
Recently a new player (Jetstar) joined the Australia Phils route offering really cheap fares. I picked up one for AUD $600+ (USD $385) return.
Next thing you know, PA & CP shit themselves and offer similar seat sales.
Wow! 13 K. That's about half a dozen freelancers for me.
I'd personally give a trip to MNL a miss and stay home and lick some Pina pussy at that price.

I got the promotions many times, they are real, but you'll always have to pay all the taxes and fees on top of the ticket price. For example for 1 P ticket you'll end up paying 1800 P after fees and services.

This girl Irish is good.
Well worth it for some of the newer guys to The Phils to spend some time on her YT channel.

Has anyone used a good bag storage facility in makati / Manila or in the airport area? I am working on a FWB option to Davao for 2 days. I don't feel like lugging my baggage to Davao and back. Experience with any facility that is safe?

Especially if you tell them your coming back in a few days.
A lot easier than taxis and lugging your bags to a dedicated storage facility and then having to do it all again to collect them.
Enjoy. G.
I need a change, I want to go live in Thailand for 2-3-6 months, been there many times, but always for max few weeks in one place, and behaving like a visitor.
Any suggestions about nice cheap places with beautiful beaches, not overrun with tourists, where mongering is easily available? I will go without the GF, she's not of much help in TH, actually I did better without her last time in June. I'm not going to ask in the TH forum because the mindset there is "wham, bam, thank you mam" one hour in a room in the back of the bar. I have few places in mind, but you'll never know what hidden knowledge, "the kind they don't teach out in college" I may get from fellow mongerers here.

Has nice beaches and a decent sized mongering scene.

Hua Hin was the first on my list, since I saw a video done during the scamdemic. How about country side, how is that compared to PH?
[QUOTE=OldAndUgly;3024252]Thanks.

In Thailand the young girls who are interested in making money on their backs gravitate to the tourist areas and finding one in the provinces is very difficult. Hua Hin is a vacation spot for middle and upper class Thais as well as a home for a large expat community. The King has a home there and it is also the home of the first golf course ever built in Thailand. But Soi Bentabaht, Soi 80, and Soi 94 areas have dozens of bars with lots of ladies aged 20 to 60.

I was thinking about a long term GF in her 20's, not from a bar, if I have patience where is more likely to find one in the city or in the province?
I second hua hin, but haven't been in a while so would not have any idea about the current situation. After the ferry stopped doing the patty hua hin route, have not been.
