In settled areas like Pattaya, the older hookers (sorry) hitched up in married bliss to foreigners try to get newbies hitched up to someone from their village for cash flow reasons. You could try Isaan town like Korat but it is hard to see how you could meet "respectable" women with the attributes you want. If you were into middle class hobbiesl ike rock climbing, scuba diving etc, you might get a chance of meeting someone but I can't see, outside of the obvious, why they would have an interest in you or me or anyone like us. You could try towns on the border with Myanmar but the ordinary ladies are just trying to get by and so have no time to squander.

Why me? Why us?
Not for the looks and glamour, that's for sure, but maybe for a worry free life, at least for a while why it lasts, or for the hope of a better future, or for the chance to experience a different world otherwise inaccessible to them, I don't know the exact answer, but so far it works for all of us, otherwise we wouldn't be here risking our life for a piece of the action, because I'm all aware that if I have a medical emergency, that will be the end of the road, but is all worth it.
You make a good point, the "Modified Friends and Family" plan may uncover some girls that otherwise have no ties to the mongering world, or maybe lingering around for awhile in some touristy spots not aimed at mongerers, where they speak some english, because my chances of learning Thai are zero. Have been to the PH thrice till now. Itching to plan the next one before the end of the year.
Till date my experiences have been:
1. Barfining a cutie from LA Cafe and then devouring her in a nearby love hotel.
2. Lounge (Heartbeat I think?) on Quezon Avenue. Enjoy some dance on the stage while groping a hottie sitting next to you. Some of them agree to do LT afterwords.
3. Quezon Avenue Massage Parlours. Mixed Experiences.
4. KTV calld Queens on Quezon. Has shut down post Covid. - used to have decent girls and overall not as pricey as KTVs in Singapore / Macau.
Looking for newer experiences for the upcoming trip. Hence, a few questions for the kind hearted legends here:
1. I like these experiences in Vietnam (mainly Saigon). Are they available in any from in the Phily?: Cafe OMs, Hot Tocs and DJ Coffee?
3. Any other lounges like the ones in Quezon Avenue?
4. Any other experiences that I might be missing out on?

Thanks in advance![/QUOTE]1/. Unfortunately the whole massage ++ and BJ bar scenes that we see in Vietnam and LOS never really took off in Manila. The closest thing to hot tocs that I can think of are the massage girls prowling Burgos who have rooms nearby but tread wearily. Scams are rife.
3/. The obvious lounge option is P Burgos where pretty much anything goes in the booths if the drinks are flowing. Some even have private VIP rooms.
4/. Poblacion and Makati generally are great areas to just go out with no plans and see what happens. I've had many great nights and met some fabulous girls totally by accident. Just be flexible, open to new experiences and generous enough to be social with out being seen as an easy mark.

And that, folks, is how its done now, when entering my country. You step up to the camera, it takes your picture, and a green light or a red light blinks. Green = pass thru to pick up your luggage. Red = random further screening or being detained. No more questions needed from the Immigration officer. The system identified you when you purchased your ticket (and provided a PP number) weeks prior from, say, NAIA, to LAX. It knew who and where you were when you checked in for the flight at NAIA. And again when your name ended up on the flight's manifest. And again when they scanned your face when you exited the aircraft at LAX. The algorithm has made a green / red decision before you get to the last Immigration officer. Your PP is probably only needed now if you get pulled aside for a random search.
My GF here has sent me photos and videos of what is left of the family hacienda after the typhoon passed through Visayas. Before it was a shack,. Now it is a pathetic ruin.
