I highly recommend using the Deutsch Bahn app. Just enter in Daimlerweg and wherever you want to go and it'll find you the best options via public transportation. I use it all the time and never worry about time tables or connections.

After a few paces he called out to me and I reluctantly turned around only to see him holding my Samsung Galaxy smart phone in his hand; it had slipped out of my pocket. Needless to say I took it from him and gave him a 5 euro tip which he took and drove off.

Usually the fare is between 10,60 and 11,40. My impression is, that certain taxi drivers prefer to drive slowly and when leaving Sharks, turn to the left. This route is full of red traffic lights.
If you are lucky and enter a taxi with a taxi driver who turns to the right when leaving Sharks, and if he drives fast, and if he stops directly in front of the station and not where all the taxis wait, it will be 10 Euros.
The way from mainstation to Sharks during the day can be more expensive due to traffic and again lots of red traffic lights.
But what are we talking about? One or two Euro, maximum 3 Euro difference. And then we pay 50 to 65 Euro only to get into Sharks.
BTW, the taxi drivers every time receive 10 Euros from the Sharks reception after they have delivered you there.
