Very ineffective, probably useless. Where I'm, was a good shacking, both times, but nothing got really damaged, cracks in the buildings, some cracks in the roads, and a lot of scared people sleeping in the street. BUT, a big BUT, both times everybody got 1 bag of rice from the government, about 5 kgs, and I don't see the reason why, because nothing happened here, and other areas really affected got nothing. The rice they got is full of stones and bugs, probably animal feed rice purchased for pennies, and sold for 10 X to the govt, it seems that they make money out of any situation, good or bad.

The reserves had to be depleted in order to be replaced and more money to be made by the ones in charge with purchasing new stock.

I am in Cebu city and have experienced a couple of pretty big shakes. Lots of cosmetic cracking and dropped plaster in my apartment but definitely nothing structural.

Also, I am not inclined to be impressed with the quality, reliability, ethics of the relief aid organisations here, which is why we are looking to do something direct. We are still coordinating with the NDRRMC but that is just to ensure that we've got information on infrastructure access and the like.

FB reel on Phils corruption skandalo recently. Numerous government contracts were doled out to reduce flooding around the country, and were marked off as complete earlier this year. Yet (shock) it was discovered during the multiple LPA's recently that the projects were never completed, some never even started. Its a 2-3 minute video. The narrator also shows the faces and social media accounts of the rich-kids of said contractors who took the money who wantonly brag up new cars and other expensive items.

I used a condom less than a handful of times in my entire life. The last time was almost 2 decades ago. Chatting a gogo girl on Burgos a few weeks ago, she asked for my phone to put her number in (pre-covid that was never allowed), suggesting a next-day rendezvous. I asked about my preferences (cam, no condom, 2 pops) and she was agree-able. I didn't let her put the number in my phone as I was on a pervin'-only mission and happy with the feel-up, and didn't think she was choice for a meet-up. Additionally one of my Manila regulars has a neighbor who contacted me quietly (my girl didn't know about it) when I was in town recently. She came, age 28, decent shape, and was fine with a p1500 1-pop, no condom was mentioned. She came twice more, and I think will become a regular.

Other fellas, having trouble with the condom from either gals in the biz, or gals not in the biz? I am quick to dismiss any girl who either mentions a condom, or does not quickly acquiesce. Its always an up-front conversation, as nothing is worse than an argument at the start of sex.

It resulted in the first time that I had girls mention covering up and a couple even insisted on negative blood tests. Bare was still readily available but it wasn't as universal as before and was often the topic of discussion.

I see increasing HIV rates are back in the news so it wouldn't surprise me at all if it's back as front of mind for the girls.

The reporting was so wide and scare mongering that all were really concerned.

As I said, that was six months ago. Guys in town now can confirm the current situation but add in the recent reporting and I wouldn't be surprised if girls are still very concerned and those with options are insisting.

Couple of years ago I had been seeing a girl from another province, for about 5 years. She'd make the bus trek to my place (or jet to NCR) about 4-5 times a year. At one point I picked her up at the bus station in a taxi, and on the way to my place she said very quietly, "We should condom". 5 years and never heard her skinny (and amazing) ass say that. 15 minutes later at my place the DFK started, the kit came off, and a few positions later she got vaxxed. Two days and several rounds later we were at a convenience store getting chips and juice. Standing in line to pay, she said it quietly again: "We should Durex"? Um, NO. You depart Saturday, yes? "Yes". Maybe you will need to go home today. "No!" Lets get these foods home, have a bite and a round, then a nap. "Yes". That's what happened, and she's never mentioned it again.
