Has anybody had experience with Palace during "Messezeit"? Is it particularly full during the evenings, subpar hurry-up service with waiting on rooms etc.? Or is it not possible to generalize?

Alot of people might be tempted to generalise, and just say: Palace during Messezeit? Skip it...And there was the incident in early/mid January '07 where, at the height of the first mega-Messe of the year, the hoards of mongers trying to visit Palace were so vast that they had to stand queing up in the rain, etc.

But a couple of weeks after that, I happened to visit Palace during Messezeit and I found, perhaps surprisingly, rather positive mongering conditons. I found that there was a girl selection to die for and that many of the girls who had come to work the club at this time with high expectations were actually a bit disappointed with the turnout of men. Also I found that Palace had added a dozen or so brand new rooms, which made for hardly any if any room waits.

So I think it can go either way, and I would certainly not dismiss Palace (or Oase) as a venue during Messezeit. I feel so confident in this, I am actually considering a quick trip there in one week, which will coincide with another fairly robust Messe event. Should be fun... If Palace does get overrun, as can happen sometimes, it's not too far to Geissen or even the NRW clubs...

I never liked the long waits for rooms during the big Messe dates and I am still avoiding the place right now. Having said that, I remember having a great time at Palace a few years age during the "Bad und Heizung" Messe. The place was crowded but manageable and it was a great party atmosphere. The Kino was rockin' with people copulating en mass. Some great shows where seen that night.

Palace is a different club now then it was then, but if the stars are correctly aligned, then it could be a good time.

Palace has plus 9 rooms since January 1st, so waiting times are reduced. My advice for those fairs that have an impact on Palace (the big ones): Come early, fuck who you want to fuck until 9 or 10 pm and then either leave or just watch.

Was on business in Frankfurt, so natuarally a visit to Palace was first on agenda. Arrived at about 7pm, seemed much quieter than previous visits with a low number of men and also a low number of girls. Intention was to chill for an hour or so and then make the first choice. FKK literally means Nudist Club. Of course we know and love the FKK Sauna clubs for the nude women, and the recreation, but for us it means much more than nudity.
On "Dessous" days the women actually put on some clothes. It varies from woman to woman but imagine fishnet, various lingere, bikinis, etc to try and enhance or advertise the strengths.

Someone more fluent in German than I might have some additional input but that is the most significant difference I've found on those days.

I have booked to vist Palace over this Easter. As far as I know there are no messe and all Germany is closed on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.
