I was there recently (been going every couple of years since 2003, primarily to visit friends and it is a beautiful city with lots of non-mongering attractions) and recently many of the windows have closed (I was told by a Dutch friend that the city is trying to reduce the number of girls). Also, the city is PACKED with tourists. One can barely move in the RLDs any more. There are some decent girls in De Pijp who offer fair prices, but selection is severely limited.

If I had my choice (unlimited time and wealth), I would probably spend most of my time in the FKKs.

There is no visa requirement to enter Tijuana. You have to fill out a temporary tourist visa at Immigration check point if staying less than 7 days.

When you return to the US, your business visa to the US, assuming with multiple entries, should allow you back.

HK has been reducing VIP privileges and tightening procedures. Security watches guys entering the front door, also via video cameras upstairs, and know all the trouble makers. They showed me high-res pics of those bad guys in their network computers.

If you are not a citizen the rules get complicated. Having a visa alone is not a guarantee to USA. I've had friends not let in, Canadian friends because USA thought they were going to try live here illegally. I've read amazing articles in news, like a Australian chick who showed up in NYC I think border patrol sent her back on next plane because she had just gotten engaged to a american guy and they suspected she would try live here. If you do go to Mexico, see a 4 dollar doctor and buy some vitamins like vitamin the or V to show a reason for going to Tijuana besides banging Mexican woman. Yep. A couple Chinese airlines fly from LAX to BKK for as low as $400. Airfares to Asia look really good this year.

Little airlines, that can scrape together down payments to buy a few B787 or an A350, want to take on those long routes. So far Hong Kong Air folded. Xiamen Air flies the same routes cheap but you get stuck in boondock Xiamen a few hours waiting for connecting flights. Air China, China Eastern and China Southern are larger airlines, also fly the pan Pacific routes cheap. Don't know how they make any profit.

Asia has a lot of little regional airlines flying very cheap, about $50 for each 3 - hour leg (similar flights cost at least $300 even in the most competitive routes in the US) or about $70 K revenue if fully booked. An A320 burns about 4,000 gallons of jet fuel an hour at $1. 80. So a 3 hour flight would cost more than $20,000 in fuel alone, yielding a gross profit about $50 K per flight before the plane lease payment, maintenance, landing fees, repairs, crew costs ect. Air Asia is one of the largest if not dominant regionals, and it has been losing money for decades.

I mean if you just going to fuck and not care about anything else then Tijuana is really the best option. I go to Amsterdam just because I love the city. The RLD is just a added benefit. It could he worse I guess. I don't really like the concept of window shopping. But it's not expensive at 50 euros and there are some fine chicks.
