I think it is because they are not used to a flushing toilet. If you had been to their homes you will see they have tankless toilets. Never became a top priority to ask why. I just stick to fucking business.

RBI Steakhouse has opened in the space vacated by the Italian resto. Steaks are imported fresh from USA. I did not try the steaks but they have a variety of other great menu items. Food was excellently prepared and presented by Chef Jeff. Entrees start around P350 if I remembered correctly. Probably has the best cup of coffee in AC.

Last month and for the first time of visiting Pi for 5 years I went to visit a family in a provincial village, on a island, one hour flight, 4 hour ferry ride, one hour drive.

Water IS available, every day from 6 am to 8 am. There is a tap located just a few houses away. The water will run from 6 am - 8 am when everyone can carry water back to their houses. This water then needs to last the day until tomorrow. It's all they will have for cooking, cleaning, flushing.

Many of the bar girls in AC come from these villages, they are not used to running water or wasting it.

For me, the provincial visit helped me understand what life these guys are coming from.

Just going by what the lady told me. So a dancer is getting around 8 K in salary a month without including LDs and BFs. It's hard job for the money. I don't know how any of them can last more than a few months. I get tired after a week in AC and I'm in bed by 11.00 pm each night with or without a girl next to me.
