But it depends on what your objective is.

But there are still cute girls to be found, and there are a lot of Japanese patrons early in the evening, although they mostly walk in, take a look and walk out; seldom spending time or money in the bar. The availability of girls online is a major contributor to the decline, allowing the customer to cut out the middle man. Also, the online girl doesn't have the stringent work requirements that the bars impose. She can wait for a customer at home rather than up on a stage.

But as I said before, I'd rather go to a bar to find a girl as I can observe her behavior and have a conversation. It may come a day when we have no choice and have to search online for the better girls. The girls I've met from DIA in the past were all "simple" - uneducated with poor English skills; IMHO the quality has gone way down in the last few years. I haven't tried the other sites.

EDSA is using Thai logic to raise revenue. If demand goes down, raise prices! I quoted the bar fine increase in one of my posts in January. If I recall is now 3000 (up from 1950) if you don't buy a lady drink (2600 if you do buy a lady drink?). That is less likely to bring customers into bars to spend money, but I understand wanting to get more revenue from the "point and click" Japanese customers. And it is still cheaper than what most SA girls demand.

And there are at least two Hostesses / karaoke bars in EDSA now. I have no idea how they work but buying a girl drinks to sit with me and make awkward conversation (where you from / how old are you / are you married / do you have kids?) does not appeal to me. It must be a Japanese thing.

Not sure why one would want to (nowadays), but everyone has their own reasons for doing things.

They all do not only MC (all the services, but not all girls that work there) but all the similar online services.

The format is similar, when you call, the operator will ask you for your selection and package.

What is important is for you to prioritize what is important to you.

If you absolutely must have a particular girl on the website, then just make that clear with the operator first and foremost.

Do you want multiple pops with a few girls or do you want to churn through 20+ girls in the time you are in town? Both are certainly possible to source.
