I thought it was a Japanese oriented shop, so I never went it. Are they open to men of other nationalities like Whites, Arabic, Indian etc?
I am White and had no problem getting into 101 Premiere Massage. The first time I went last month, as I was walking in the door, a bunch of girls were beating on a East Asian guy, with one girl punching him in the head with closed fist. Fearing that they would really hurt him, I stepped in to restrain the girl who was doing the heavy punching. One of the girls beating on him said that he had slapped the girl that was punching him. The bouncer came in from outside and threw a couple of punches too before stopping and deciding to stop the assault on the guy, pushing him out the door, with cut marks and bruises on his face. He also dropped his glasses, which the slapped girl stomped on and broke, holding them up and smiling to the rest of the girls. When I entered the shop, I asked the mamasan what had happened and she said that he tried not to pay for something and showed me a bill he had torn, but I couldn't understand what he didn't pay for or or why he tore the bill. Lesson: don't fuck with Thai women. They will do a number on you if you do. Whatever the guy tried to save by not paying was more than offset by the beating he got and the glasses he lost.
After all this excitement, I looked at the photo album, which has a page for each girl with her picture, age, measurements, and what her services are (BBBJ, kisses, 2 shots, etc.), which is very helpful, as well as stickers showing whether she is busy, on holiday, or available. All the ones I liked in the photo album were busy, so I asked for a lineup. No one appealed to me so I said thank you and I would come back another time to see if the busy ones were available.
I went back two days later and saw that photos of three of the girls that I had liked before did not have a busy sticker on them, so I asked for a lineup. About 8-9 girls came out, but I didn't see any of the girls in the photos, so I asked where x was, and a girl who looked nothing like the photo raised her hand. I did the same for the other two girls, with the same result. I said thank you and left, commenting to the mamasan that the photos were much better than the reality. If you go, don't bother looking at the photos; just ask for a lineup. If you like someone, then ask her name and check out her page to see if you like the range of her services.

Assuming they have a normal appearance. I have heard of surcharges in Body massage parlours, but restrictions to enter no.

East Asian?
I think Asslover meant open in the sense of open-minded but there are definitely Japanese places on soi 33 and soi Thaniya that deny entry to non-East Asians.
Basic question I guess. Not sure what is meant by East Asian here? Are you referring to Japanese? It gets confusing sometimes. In the US they refer to people from China, Japan, Korea etc as Asians. But in the UK it implies Indians, Pakistanis etc. Anyways excerpt from google as follows:
"Countries in East Asia include China, North Korea, South Korea, Mongolia and Taiwan. The Russian Federation is also part of East Asia through Outer Manchuria and Siberia.
East Asia is a term that is used to describe geographical and cultural traits. For example, Northeast Asia generally refers to Japan or China. Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan encompasses the cultural aspect of East Asia.
There is debate over whether or not certain nations should be part of East Asia. For instance, Vietnam is part of Southeast Asia, but it shares cultural similarities to East Asia. Siberia is located in North Asia, but the Russian Federation shares ties with nations to the east. Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and China are considered part of East Asia in the world of business and economics. The diplomatic and economic references to East Asia often conflicts with historical accounts".

We used to say Oriental but that's apparently un-PC nowadays so East Asian has been widely adopted.

I live in Bangkok now and visited here on holiday many times in the past. I am Caucasian. I have only "heard" that there are places that would refuse my entry or where the girls will not go with me due to the establishment's Asian/Japanese Only policy but have never experienced it. Last time a friend and I strolled down Thaniya Road in Silom, he and I were both approached by the mamasan of one of those supposed "Asian/Japanese Only" Karaoke shops with younger and hotter than usual girls sitting outside who practically begged us to come inside to see if a girl would be to our liking. The friend I was with is African American.
Now, when we moved on down the road we were approached by a couple of tuk-tuk drivers who showed us brochures with photos of girls sitting behind glass and were adamantly assuring us that, "allow Americans, not like here". Of course, it is totally in those tuk-tuk drivers' financial interest to make non Asian/Japanese tourists THINK the shops right here under our noses do not allow non Asians/Japanese. Is that the intel we're working with here? What tuk-tuk drivers who want to take us elsewhere tell us about those places?
As many times as it ought to happen, I have never met a fellow Caucasian expat or curious tourist who said they tried to walk into this or that club and were straight armed off the premises and refused entry because they were not Asian/Japanese. I suppose they must exist somewhere, but I have also never seen a sign at the door of a club or shop in Bangkok indicating "Asian/Japanese Only, No Caucasians Allowed."
Can anyone give the exact name and location of such a place? Maybe I'll walk on over there sometime and see what happens if I try to go inside. I only ever hear that "there are places."

There also used to be a Japanese only club on Suk Soi 5. We tried to go in one night and were barred. So yes, it did happen. Whether it does now or not; I have no idea. Guess if business is slow enough, they'll resort to letting the dirty white man in.
If you genuinely believe you'll be welcomed into these places, why not just stroll over there and go into the club you mentioned?
Anybody who has been out and about in Japan knows the scene. They have a distinct preference for mingling amongst themselves and do not welcome outsiders.
There may well be some clubs in Thaniya who allow farangs entry but from my experience the majority do not. Those that do will find their older traditional minded Japanese clientele going elsewhere.
That said my feeling is that this mindset is changing and now a significant number of the mostly younger lads head to Baccara Crazy Horse et al for their manko.

Maybe I will sometime. But I don't think I needed to actually follow her through the door to find out if she was only kidding or not.
What is promised on the outside is often very different to what you get inside.
True. But that can happen anywhere and often does. Not only that, but for someone like me where the only tunes on the sexual hit parade worth spending money for are Shaved Pussy and either BBBJ+CIM or BBFS, I'm guessing the most likely places for me NOT to get what I need would be those catering predominantly to Asian/Japanese clientele. LOL.
However, I think a Caucasian (and in this case it would have been a Caucasian and an African American) simply being seen stepping inside the place by everyone on the soi including any approaching Asian/Japanese customers would shatter whatever "Asian/Japanese Only" pretense they were trying to maintain.

Had a good time but nothing worth going to that area on a regular basis for. I'm not Caucasian or Asian yet had no problems with the papa sans or mamasans. The clubs that outright deny westerners are quite rare though they do exist. Plenty of supply to go around in any case.

I have been visiting LOS for over 15 years myself, and I don't remember seeing enough Japanese men to warrant a Japanese only club, I mean purely from a business perspective.
I have had mixed experiences at Thaniya. Sometimes the same joint that begs you to come in, would refuse entry saying there is a private party. Some that would not stop you at entry would just act plain hostile on another day.
That said, I wonder how many BMs here will allow their ego to admit they have been refused entry at the door of any joint?

The Japanese have always been the largest group of foreigners working in Thailand. Most were expats. That was why Thaniya was thriving at the time. In the late 90's and early 00's it was packed most nights. Towards the mid 00's as the number of well paid Japanese expats declined (actually the numbers of well paid expats from all nations declined) business in Thaniya started to fall off and you began to see some of the gals migrate to Thermae and the Siam Hotel Coffee Shop on Pheburi Road (now defunct). I encountered quite a few gals starting about 04 who had quite Thaniya due to lack of business. Japanese residents and tourist began to visit these places as opposed to the high priced Thaniya, where I would imagine costs used to be expensed to companies. When the Siam Coffee Shop closed the transition from there to Thermae was made.
