Re Kob Bar,

Can you please advise cost of various services at this establishment?

After doing my homework, reading the forums, paying my subscription to Jackson (well worth it! ) and trying to ask not so dumb questions I set sail (well, got on the plane actually) for LOS. I only had two nights in Thailand, so I had to make the most of it and have a plan in place. While I had a basic sense of reasonable price ranges in my head, I decided I wasn’t going to quibble and waste time over trying to find the best deal. I also decided that since I had such limited time I would go the tried and true route by staying at the Nana, and starting off at the NEP.

My first surprise was walking in the Nana, and seeing families in the lobby and checking in – What was Dad thinking? ! ? I got in at about 8 pm, and after freshening up headed across the street. I knew which bars to stay out of, and made a few circuits getting the lay of the land before going into one. I had heard reasonably good things about the Mandarin, so I ventured there first (there appears to be two Mandarins next to each other. For reference, I went into the one on the right as you head up the stairs). I got my beer and settled down to watch the girls shuffling back and forth; . I was early in the evening, and the ratio was to my liking only a few mongerers, and a lot of girls. After a few songs and lack of any interest on my part (what’s the rush? ) the Mamasan came over with a pretty dancer in tow and plopped her in my lap "she new here, she no speak English, but she suck good! " Well now! Indeed, the girl (Nat I believe) did seem new to the bar scene (she didn’t get the whole ladies drink concept and had to be coached by the server) and spoke very little English (OK was the standard answer to anything I asked). Appreciating the positive attitude, I figured why not! I settled with mamasan for 3, 500 LT for the girl, and 6oo BF and off we went.

The CBJ was so so, and DATY was good. We changed positions a few times, and it seems she was really enjoying my attention, when she almost flung me on my back, climbed on top and rode like crazy until I believe she really came "OK! ". We did the deed a few more times that night and early morning, she dressed and left at about 5 (I think Nana expects girls to leave then) and that was fine with me as I wanted a few hours of sleep.

After waking up went off for some sightseeing. I had intended on going for the ultimate in degrading sex at the Star of Light, but being so hot and sweaty after walking around, I just wasn’t in the mood, so headed back to the hotel to rest and get ready for the evening.

Again I headed out at about 8:30, which still seemed early and the ratio was way in my favor. I had a sense that I shouldn’t drink from the same trough two nights in a row, so checked out a few of the other establishments. Rainbow 4 was primarily Japanese, and they got all the attention. Angelwitch was showing the most nudity, but some of the "girls" were pretty suspect – anyone else get this vibe? I popped into a few others, and none seemed as friendly to me as Mandarin, so against my better judgment back I went. I wasn’t there for more than 2 minutes (I hadn’t seen Nat) before a pretty young thang sat down next to me, grabbed my hand, kissed me on my cheek and leaned her head on my shoulder. And that’s all it took! It was very clear that her whole purpose in life was to make me happy, and I figured, why deprive her! She offered LT for 3000, and I agreed. At that point Mamasan spotted me and came over to give me a big hug. She then proceed to run in the back and pull Nat out (Uh oh, I thought) but Nat was very pleasant (although she and the new girl talked like they were exchanging info) and off we (Nau. I think) went.

Nau grabbed me a kissed me as soon as we got in the room, then started where Nat had left off with a BBBJ and then lots of different positions. She kept making sure I was having fun, and then when we were done cuddled up nicely. On one hand it felt like a real GFE, on the other hand it felt like very practiced moves, but I settled for the GFE mode. Again, next morning she took off, and an hour later, so did I.

All in all, a wonderful first experience, to the point where I am suffering withdrawal symptoms and trying to find a way back over. Thanks to all for the great advice, and thanks to Jackson for the wonderful repository.

Girls are not young, average looking. Maybe some, average could be generous for others. Hard to see their faces when they working on you. Black hair all looks the same.

Prices. I can't remember exactly but comparable to Kangaroo, Red Rose or SOL.

No it isn't a joke. I was dead serious. Obviously I know their ultimate and only motive is $$$. But I guess i was fooled by comparing her (subconscioulsy) to the massage girls and Eden girls that I experienced! Those girls hung in there with me til the end of our agreed upon time.

He was probably thinking about laying the "sorry dear, I didn't know!" line and getting a chance to slip away while she shopped or at least getting some eye candy during his stay.

As for the Mandarin, one is the Go-Go and the other is the lap dance bar, with mini stages and a more intimate setup.

I was last in Bangkok Feb 08, no changes as far as I could see, Nana Plaza closed at 2am.

Last weekend cops closed Cowboy at 1am. Bar girls said it had been that way
recently for the last week or so.

I am not sure but I think Cowboy and Nana Plaza come under different police "districts".

I say that because I remember on one religious day Cowboy did not open but Nana Plaza did.

it was Mar 17 or 18th, maybe it was it being a monday/tuesday - BG& closed at midnite and Thermae closed at 1am also. Girls were definitly refering to the new gov't as these are the current rules.
