Uber shows me US$64.63 right now. Sometimes driver can ask to cancel an order and pay in cash, not the card.

For me, BB offers that sense of safety in going to DR alone which intrigues me. I've been to Sosua before with friends, it's amazing, I had a great time, but I don't feel as comfortable going alone.

Those raggedy Sosua hoes may steal your shit, but nobody is going to harm you there. Sosua is one of the safest places on the planet if you do not count maybe getting hit by a wild motorbike driver.

Some guys really enjoy the thrill of the hunt that Sosua provides. Other guys prefer the relaxation of simply choosing from a group of available women. I can appreciate both perspectives. I go to BBs to relax and unwind, but that may not appeal to guys who are looking for a different dynamic.

I've long thought that the photos of the women in the newsletter don't do them justice. Though you probably won't find any true stunners at BBs, the women seem prettier in person than in those photos. Then too, there isn't a correlation between looks and skills. Some average-looking women have incredible technique; some true beauties are sexually incompetent. Most of the women I've had at BBs know their way around a man's body; that's more important to me than looks. But to each his own.

Anyone else having issues with reservations? For some reason I haven't gotten a response. I checked my email / spam and called the phone number 3 x. I planned on being there 3/26-4/3.

What is going on with BB? I read a few weeks ago there is now a wristband policy that all guests have to wear. Sounds like they do not want any outsiders.

I've been to BB many times and met quite a few guests who live in the area, come for dinner, support the bar, etc. Sounds to be like they only want registered guests now.

I also read in a recent newsletter they are requiring a $100.00 deposit and if you cancel no matter how much notice you give them it will be applied to your next visit and won't be refunded. Whoever is making these decisions weather it's Ted or other investors it's rubbing some people the wrong way.

They were in place when I was there in December.

They're happy with guests who drop in. There were still plenty of them last time.

I agree with you on the room deposit. That's new since I was there and it's not good.
