Respectfully, not sure I agree. It depends where you go. I had 9 root canals, and 15 crowns done at Sonrisa on the corner of 28 de Julio and Larco for about $5K. Impeccable treatment, US materials, great staff, no issues. I was quoted $32K for the same in the US. Bolox to that.

BTW - yes, I had nationalised medicine when I was a child. Be very afraid!

I would have to agree, generally speaking. I´m in the medical profession, and healthcare in the US is abysmal, worse than many 3rd world countries.

Having said that I would not have walked into a dentist´s office cold off the street here. I happen to have a friend who is in the field who referred me. It was funny actually seeing the doctor open his own door, answer his own phone, make his own appointments, collect his own fees, and then do the work! But he was great, and there´s a lot better places to get health care than the US, particularly California!

I once went to no less than 5 different dentists in San Francisco for a toothache, and all of them said I would have to lose the tooth. I finally found an endodontist who said that that was ridiculous and he performed a simple procedure that cured me.

I also just had botox here for a third of what it would have cost me in the US. I´m quite pleased with the results. Don´t tell anyone, ok?

Could someone compare Peru to Tijuana and Brazil? Are there street girls? What do the girls in the brothels and bars charge. What is the low end rate for 6 and 7s and the rate for 9s and 10s?

My friend you have it all layed out for you. Take an hour and go over the peru forum including the lima list section. Afterwards I am sure many people would be willing to answer any questions.

I've never been to brazil but I've done tijuana a few times...headed back in a few weeks. You will not get that great of a SW scene in lima. Actually I don't recommend it due to several scams. The SW scene is set up to rip off customers...alot in the centro are lesbians. Calle de pizzas and miraflores can offer a decent SW at times and is safer.

TJ is more convenient. You have to do a little research for lima. There is no zona.

I have been in the states for awhile now, but before I left I got two crowns and a root canal done in Lima (Clinica Good Hope) as I do not like/trust US Dentists. Think I paid about $400.00 for all. The most important thing is to make sure your dentist uses an "autoclave" for sterilization.

If anyone needs a reccomendation in Lima (depending on the work) I know guys that specialize (here everybody has a speciality).

Is Peru massage parlor oriented like Costa Rica? I regret the two chicas I took out of Hotel Del Rey. I saw no value in the club chicas and I took the hottest chica in Del Rey the first night I went. I liked the massage parlor scene more in CR.

There are a few sauna/massage type places in lima. A few posts down you will read about doc bill's experience at relax and vida.

Again...if you took an hour to RTFF you would know alot more.

For what it is worth, it is the most popular place of its kind, even without FS, in Lima. Even among locals. Like others have said Lima is not the best place for the point and click monger. The FS places tend to have low quality and even R y V the quality isn't the best. Lima works best if you speak a bit of Spanish and comfortable hitting on non pros. I like Lima but for the money dudes are paying for p4p there are better places to go for that kind of money.

For What It Is Worth, I Have Been To Relax And Vida Many Times Over The Last Two Years. Yes, You Do Not Get Fs Unless You Have Confianza With A Chica. But It Is Still A Great Experience And A Must When Visiting Lima. The Quality Of Girls Have Decreased Over The Years But The Service Is Still Excellent.
