Sunday New year Jan 1 in HK
Drove down Jan 1 in the afternoon. Obiwan and Papaya had been staying in Cascada for a couple nights. Obiwan was about to check out and go home on Sunday but stayed another right just to meet up after a couple months. What a good wingman he is. He's always buying drinks for his friends. One night I drank too much, fell asleep for an hour at the table, woke up, continued to party hehe.
HK got busy in the afternoon. By 7 It was packed with guys and girls, thinned down to about half by 10 then to a third by 11. There was no HK's official NY party like the night before; only a few big spenders continued stirring things up for fun.
We were sitting at the table in the middle of the club, drinking, talking, ogling hot girls, watching some football on the giant TV. Papaya finally left his room and came down with his bar GF. Have no idea what he was doing with all these girls in his room so long. Will ask, but he may not spill his sexy details. Other girls came over, hanging on to him. He bought them $30 champagne flutes again and again. That's why he's so popular. He asked meseros to bring down liquor bottles in his room, more mixers, shared them among friends.
By 7 PM meseros asked us to move to a booth against the wall to make room for Jabba the Butt's bottle service. He arrived with his bar GF Cielo, standing next tp the front meat pole, drinking straight out of a Tequila bottle; she was sitting high on the pedestal drinking Champagne flutes. 10 plates of snacks were spread out on 2 tables. Meseros were helping themselves on drinks and snacks. After a while Jabba and GF started to rain bundles of green $ on the crowd. Meseros and guys were stampeding to seize the cash. HK girls were standing around the crowd but had class and did not lower themselves to scoop up money from the floor. I have to give HK girls credit for maintaining their dignity, at same time discredit Jabba for pulling a cheap stunt with his loose change.
Another hot guy came in again, bare-chested Steroid Bob, showing lots of tats all over his torso and muscular arms, looking like Jaws in James Bond movies, with his bar GF Ashley, a skinny young guy his bodyguard, a sicario with hair bundle, dark shades, carrying a tote bag, potentially holding a Mac10. They were drinking liquor, smoking meth, inhaling helium from balloons filled with a canister. He went on stage, raining green $ on strippers with meseros handing him stacks after stacks of 500 $ bills, easily $2000-3000 in all. He was so high, had to be led to the banos with his hand on mesero's shoulder, like a blind man. His bodyguard was sitting with his tote bag next to the boss and his GF, drinking water all night, scanning the club behind his dark shade. Near the end of the night, after Steroid Bob had been led out of the club like a blind man to go home, the sicario started drinking liquor, inhaling helium and eventually took a HK girls somewhere. These guys looked like hard core cartel guys. We were sitting at a table near them, but I went away to Miami's door in case fights or shooting broke out.
Most hot girls were monopolized by guys with bottles service, sitting with them all night, or preoccupied with green $ rains by Jabba and Steroid Bob, not available for companies or arriba. Club packed like a sardine can, girls' disengagement, shortage of rooms, coupled with the presence of hard-core cartel guys and their theatrics, make HK's big party events not safe or worth going.
Papaya left his HK bar girls in the booth to go pick up another girl, Alina, just flown in from GDL to party with him. She's about mid to late 20's, a little mature compared to most HK girls, but looked beautiful and classy. Obiwan and Papaya always leave their iPhone on the table while they drink. This night 2 phones were on top of a green $ stack. Obiwan went to the banos for a few minutes, his phone was gone when he came back, while Papaya still had his phone. He asked HK managers and meseros to search all over but could not find it. HK suspected a mesero stole it, but it was very unusual as Papaya's phone was also on top of the cash but did not get stolen, and Obiwan's phone had face and data locks, could not be used. It was more likely stolen by an amateur monger in the club. Next day HK security tracked the phone's location to a shop on Calle 2 next to the Cathedral. They will go to the shop and squeezed the owners to find who sold them the phone. Whoever stole that phone should know they are facing some really bad-ass people and will be in deep shit. They will be found and severely punished by the people running La Zona Norte.
I felt serious security risks in a huge party jam-packed with people, also cartel and sicario guys. Had to hide for a while in a safe corner. Glad no scuffles, fist fights or shootings happened. But it was very nice to hang out in the new year, drink and enjoy the companies of wingmen whom I had not seen a while.
Large HK's events are not safe or fun, not worth going!
