I have only been to Medellin twice, so I am basically a newbie like you. I would recommend Colombia Jake. He basically provides a concierge service and hotel in one. You stay in his large apartment in Poblado (the nicest part of town), he takes you on tours of casas and at night he arranges "dates" for you. You tell him the kind of girls you like, and he delivers. Its a pretty unique and good service. Its $97 per day, including the room. He can also assist you with things like local SIM cards, help at pharmacies, and basically anything else you are interested in doing in Medellin. However if you want to do general tourist stuff, go to the hostels near his place, they have a lot of packages for tourist stuff (like paragliding or the Pablo Escobar tours).

The Mansion is also a great option - [URL]http://hotelmedellinplaza.com/[/URL] - this is a full service small hotel (24 rooms in 2 buildings) and in the main building there is a bar in the basement where there are plenty of girls every night. Girls also often hang around the pool during the day. The rates vary based on the room you get. Between $85-$100 a day, includes a nice breakfast. The guys who stay here are usually veterans in Medellin and are often very helpful. The front desk and night guard people at this hotel all speak English and can help you do stuff like get a SIM card and order food & cabs. The Mansion is also in Poblado, just behind the main street.

Remember that there isn't that much English spoken in Medellin. If you are fluent in Spanish, there are a lot of other ways to do Medellin very cheaply. However given how strong the USD is now, its going to be a bargain however you go and you might as well make it as easy as possible given that you only have 4 days. The Mansion or Colombia Jake will make the trip very easy for you and will help you save a lot of time on advance planning and searching for girls. On my last visit I got to Jake's apartment at 10 pm from the airport and he had a great girl there just waiting for me. No time wasted at all.

The Mansion and Jake's apartment are only a 5 minute cab ride apart, so you can mix up you stay very easily. Use your time over the next month to brush up on your Spanish, that is going to be the most useful thing. There are a lot of beautiful girls in Medellin, but they don't speak a lick of English. Of course you aren't there for the conversation, but its nice to try.

I speak Spanish quite well-almost fluently. I have traveled a lot. I can def. Get around the city day or night without much issue.

I just need tips on finding hot spinners who are 18-25. And like to play.

Not trying to take away these guys business but they mainly serve the spanish challenged or those we only have a week or two. I myself was spanish challenge (a little less now, LOL) but I went solo and got my own apartment for 3 months. I found it more fun as I am challenged but was alway greeted with vets down there who will help. PM if you need some guidance. I'm on my way back next two weeks and maybe pulling in a 3 month tour.

Through the whole length of Medellin is a river, main throughfare and most importantly the main Metro line. Towards the right hand side (or bottom, depending on the map) you'll find Metro stops (called 'estacions') Poblado, Aguacatala, and Ayura. On one side of Ayura, look for Plaza Mayorista.

Other starter info (especially for non-Spanish speakers) should maybe include tips on the paper money. 1000 and 10,000 look annoyingly similar and a 50 mil note is worth 50,000, not 50 million. Conversion rates are varying enormously when changing money.

The best there are a few 7's,and once in a while an 8.

The Casas make it so you can see before you choose. I'm always hesitant with online service sites (escort services etc) be / see ya never really know who is going to show up.

The strip clubs also let you look before you touch--probably more expensive than the Casas--at least that scene is usually more in other places. But, I would guess there are more 9's and 10's at a strip club than a Casa.

Are there other cool spots to pick 'them up? Known bars late night in Parque Lleras? Other clubs / bars?

I don't need someone to hold my hand--just some suggestions from some Medellin vets. To make it easier.

Medellin is supposed to have more 9's and 10's than anywhere. Hopefully, I can find them.

There is a lot of noise in the forum but if you are diligent and go through each post maybe up to a year back you'll know what you need to know to have a good time without paying any gringo tax to an overpriced hotel. I stayed in both Mayorista and Poblabo and did casa runs during the day on my own. I speak some Spanish so that helped especially when checking into my hotel in Mayorista. The locals in that area don't speak much English. I met some other punters in Mayorista at night and had a blast.

MAYORISTA Metro: Ayur.

'Mayorista' (in terms of mongering) is a strip of cheap bars and brothels within walking distance of Ayur Metro station. Safe.

You can use a bus or taxi, or take the Metro in the direction of "El Estrella. " Ayur is the stop after Aguacatala. The Metro is also modern and safe.

As you get off the Metro you have to turn right along the station platform to exit ('saida' This takes you up some steps and you turn left at the top. You can see Mayorista area on a map before you leave if you like. It's on the opposite side of the Metro line to Poblado and the same side as Olaya Herrera domestic airport. The Metro bridge takes you over the freeway and the river. You can see the big Chevrolet / Autolarte building. It comes out onto a big dual-carriageway street, Calle 85, running at right angles to the Metro line.

Follow this street, Calle 85, staying on the same side (left hand side as you walk away from the station; the Chevrolet building is on the right hand side). You will pass the usual motley collection of street vendors selling street food and knicknacks.

Within a few minutes you reach the entrance to "Plaza Mayorista" which you ignore. Plaza Mayorista is an enormous covered wholesale market, warehouse area, about five enormous supermarkets, many small shops selling lots of things other than chicas. Nice clean place to eat and wear yourself out walking.

Ignoring the entrance to Plaza Mayorista, carry on along Calle 85. You pass the Terpel garage on your left. Set back from the road is the long Mayorista Plaza building (about 8 floors with a stripe of reddish brown brick along the middle). At the end of the block is a Plaza exit with a fancy silver canopy and some little waterfalls. Again ignore this and carry on along Calle 85. There's a barbed wire topped metal fence running along the Plaza area. Eventually Carlle 85 becomes something more 'normal' with small shops and bars and clubs and cafs and hotels cheap and less cheap. The chicas litter the pavement inviting you in. It winds up around Carrera 52. Choose well. Plenty of buses and taxis from here.

CARRERA 53 Metro: Parque Berrio.

This is definitely for the more adventurous and street-wise. Very cheap indeed. A block or so of cheap bars, clubs, stripshows with chicas spilling onto the pavement. Dangerous? Only for the foolhardy really, but the surrounding area is not that clean and lovely, especially at night, so investigating daytime first is recommended so you know your way around the area. Once in Carrera 53 you are reasonably safe if you are street-wise. You can watch a stripshow, no charge, though they like to collect a small amount after you've watched. There are many cons, but it is not like the rougher area of Prado or the almost adjacent Plaza Botero. However, you probably have to go through the rougher part to get to it. I suggest getting to know your options for getting back to the Metro or finding a taxi (ie Walking: any street that is well lit and has people. If in doubt, the big street going back to Parque Berrio Metro (Calle 51) is a good bet. However, Calle 53, while less savoury, is quicker for finding taxis (skip past the glue-sniffers etc).

This is an interesting area. The Carrera 53 chicas are 24/7 although there is a big difference between a morning on a holiday day and an evening towards the end of the week. Adjoining streets have interesting markets (the normal sort, not like Mayorista), architecture, museums, a stunning mall and plenty of cheap places to stay. Relatively gringo-free and you can have good fun. You should know how to laugh off the occasional malandro. Normal warnings in triplicate.

Carrera 53 (the chica part) is a block or two from Plaza Botero. The easiest way to find it is to go from Parque Berrio Metro to the Botero Plaza and Museum of Antiquities (a few yards in the direction of Prado, but opposite side of the tracks to Candelaria). When you get to the Plaza, the Museum of Antiquities is facing you as you face away from the Metro line. Just follow the road on your right-hand side (Calle 53) that goes past and the Museum, and turn left into Carrera 53 chica-walk.

I don't think it's a case of getting lost, simply as you can see, for a first timer there is lots of chat about what a great night I had or whether taxis are better than Uber, but rarely any info on what and where. A map tells you where Mayorista is but not what the area is like, whether to just turn up at night, or the difference between Mayorista the market and Mayorista chica-ville. People can waste days just finding things out. Especially if they are solo mongers rather than liking to hang out with other gringos (some would say bottom feeders!)

But the forum is about giving information, so I hope I do not get flamed for giving directions, or for mentioning the rougher areas. I've had to find out all this myself and tbh I got zero info from the Medellin board, more from other forums.
