Friday morning report.

Me and gordibuena went late, and took a long time to get an Uber to send her home (what is it with these drivers messaging trying to upcharge late at night? They all refused to schlep her out to San Cristobal. She left at 11 eventually, but it meant another chica got stood up.

If you are not Dominican you are a gringo. The guys on El Conde are not trying to make friends. They are about getting paid. Gringos are low hanging fruit. Started drafting this on Saturday while I was still on the plane, and got sidetracked.

Sitting on the flight to Orlando and wanted to wrap up. Had a really fun day on Friday. Met my deadline after the first chick left. Gordibuena came over and waited patiently while I was finishing up. Even dozed off on the bed. We left and went to Sambil for a late lunch and check the sights. Nice mall. It's way bigger than I expected. Bigger than many in the States, just without the anchor department stores like Bloomingdales or Macy's.

Lots of chicas everywhere. If you have decent Spanish I'm sure you could chat them up. They're all super friendly. Got our manicures and some pampering then we walked over to the metro and took the subway to Agora mall where I bought some stuff. For a place as developed as this, to have cheap mongering options and such nice people, its baffling. It's both poverty ridden and fairly developed at the same time.

Back to the apartment and had our last session. Even better than before and better than the girl earlier in the day. Sent her home with 4000. Culturally, I have far more in common with Dominicanos than most on here do. Where I'm from is not so different. I don't lead with my wallet, necessarily, and there's a commonality of experiences that comes through when I travel to places like this and talk to people. When I say "back home we do X, but call it this", and they say "yes, that's exactly how we do it here too". This has happened quite a bit in just 4 days.

In short, the average person sees more of themselves in me than in an older / middle aged white guy from a developed country. Whether I'll still be a target is another issue, though I've just never felt like people see dollar signs when they look at me on all my travels.

Finally, as I mentioned in the last report, I think El Conde has seen the last of me. It's a really shit experience, if I'm being honest. I don't tend to do touristy stuff anyway. I'm happier blending in where regular people are going about their lives.

Frankly, I don't know how some of you live in this place, because I'd need a basket full of dicks to handle all the pussy being thrown at me left and right. Old Kool, you said it best that all that's needed is patience and a bit of time.

Nice trip! You summed up SD perfectly. Spanish is key, followed by patience, especially with the traffic.

The women can be more difficult but when you find a gem, its priceless. Some will eventually stop caring about money, if you are genuine and they feel that.
