And this is (I think) a useful piece of information, even if my reading is somehow different from yours.

About the two answers, you got the positive one on your way out, when essentially there is no cost for the hotel guy telling you what you want to hear (and ensuring a return) while the negative came at check-in. This being Dubai, well, I would not draw any conclusion here. This is the place where customer care will go to any contortions to get you to call when their shift is over (making you someone else's problem).

I was in Dubai for couple of Business Meeting on transit Visa.

DAY:01.

Checked In Hotel Traders in Deira in the evening and a major set back immediately. . They are not green anymore. After having some meeting preparation for next day headed up to York Club at around 11 Pm with 75 Aed entry fee with one drinks.
