Giotto[/QUOTE]I am going to give a different perspective on what Giotto, whom I did meet in Phuket shared with you, and presently I am still in Phuket. I have found Phuket to be a great place, as it offers so many things for those that want to actually get out and move around a little bit. I will also try to incorporate more of my experiences in a longer report if and when I get around to writing it.

I really like Phuket because of all the opportunities it offers. Since I have been here, I rented a motorbike, and have been from one side of the island to the other on several occasions. I have been to every shopping market you can probably find here. Renting the motorbike has provided me an opportunity to see all the beauty of the island. I have seen elephants out in the middle of no-where walking across the road with no humans insight. I have seen many outstanding art galleries perched up along the roads. The scenery that Phuket offers is breathtaking. I have found so many beautiful beaches that make the beaches around Karon and Patong look like garbage. In the last couple of days, I have jet skied, para sailed, and today I actually bungy jumped. I also went and visited the big white Budda which was really amazing to see. I took the motorbike and went and saw a waterfall. I had a tour to the Similan Islands to snorkel and see some of the beautiful corals and fish imaginable. I have ate and shopped in many little villages I ran into while cruising down the road on the motorbike.

In Patong itself, I have enjoyed numerous massages of all types, met some great Thai people, enjoyed the beautiful hotel I am staying at. I have enjoyed people watching, checking out the endless amount of restaurants, sampling different items of Thai food, as well as enjoying the fresh seafood. The city is full of bars of all types, as it is much more than Bangla Rd. Once you reach the end of the road that goes to Karon, you will see a side street that is a shopping complex and bar area. It has about 50 or more outside little bars with girls just dying to meet you. There is so much more than I have wrote above, but I am hoping to write a field report of my total experience in Thailand so I will close this post for now, and add to it when I decide to write the larger report.

My point in pointing out a different view than Giottos, is to let you all know that to enjoy Phuket to the fullest, you have to rent a motorbike, and venture out of Bangla Road to see all the beauty this beautiful paradise offers, beyond the girls who you will find yourself hard to escape from. For those that do not know how to ride, no need to worry, as these motorbikes are automatic, so you just have to get on, hit the gas and away you go. It is 7:30 pm so that means it is time to end this post and go see some great live music at a bar called the 2 Black Sheep, and watch the beautiful girls walk by heading to work on Bangla Rd.

It was immaculately clean with a very enthusiastic staff (and no joiner charge) for 1030 Baht/night which included breakfast. If you look at today's online Bangkok Post you can click on an ad by Accor Hotels, which owns the Ibis and get this same hotel at 700 Baht/night from April-July. If you want a nice, clean, safe, secure hotel a 3 minute walk from the beach, and about 8 minute walk to Bangla, check it out.

Have any of you guys tried the Stoney Monday Oasis Hotel? Any advice on it?

A report on my first and probably last visit to Phuket.

Stayed 10 nights in Patong at the relatively new Boutique Rayaburi Hotel, good rates and an excellent restaurant, however a few teething troubles with internet and water systems from time to time, overall, very comfortable, but not at all GF. Joiner Fee of 1000 Baht plus Documents, ID etc.

I was with my Girlfriend and we had a great time, especially in the large rooftop jacuzzi, which we had to ourselves most days. We did get a few visits from other hotel guests, pretending to look around, but keen to see her in a different Wicked Weasel Bikini every day :)

Rented a decent bike from a guy on the seafront - Honda 400 Transalp, a bit bigger and faster than the run-of-the-mill scooter types. Cost was a reasonable 500 baht/day for 8 days.

We spent a lot of time out and about sightseeing round the island, but most nights were up and down Bangla Rd and surrounding area, having fun. My girl is very open-minded and likes to see the eye-candy at work just as much as I do.
In fact the highlights of our visit was meeting up with fellow monger 'UrbanWildlife' and going out hunting the Wildlife with him. My girl loved the bar and bar fine scene and was happy to give her opinion on the good, bad and often ugly too.

My GF and I always ate on the main street, choosing a different 'budget style' restaurant most nights and then we would meet up with UrbanW and go hopping around the small bars, both on Bangla and further down in the Market where there are literally hundreds of the tiny 'round' shacks set up each with different music, beer offers and assorted girls.

Personally the whole place is just too crowded, but it was fun to watch the 'first time fools' enjoying the scene just as much as we were, but obviously being ripped off and paying more for it.

Delving deeper into the Bangla Go-Gos and Beer bars revealed an assortment of bars playing loud music with plenty of girls, found some excellent lookers in the 50:50 class too. However the Bar Fine situation was somewhat odd, having been previously used to BKK etc where you BF a girl and get her out of the bar for the night, paying her whatever tip is required.
Here in some bars we found that you can barfine at 500 baht, but if before 12 midnight, you can only keep the girl for 1 hour at a further cost of 2K baht, then she must return to the bar. After Midnight, the BF is the same, but you can keep her all night - Just another rip-off in my opinion.

We did find a decent Skooly Dancer type bar where we could BF at 600 all night from about 10 pm onwards, not bad considering the competition around. With a girl in tow we set off for other bars and to let her show us more of the sights of Patong, however all was not good. She took us to another small bar in Tiger area, on the pretence of us all meeting one of her friends. After a few drinks at this place, we rumbled the rip-off, the bar was charging Lady Drinks Prices of 170 baht for the girl we had brought in, my mate was less than impressed and so we left.

On the whole Patong is a small area chock full of every different type of girl or boy that a man could require, plus thousands of visiting ex-pats often with wives or Girlfriends showing a little too much Pork at times. Of course I was happy that my 50:50 Girlfriend likes to show off the flesh, but doesnt carry any extra weight like some of the Whales we observed both on the beach and in Bangla particularly. It was actually scary to see how some guys can walk around displaying the fact that they are married to a monster when all around are thai babes gagging for their cash. Phuket is definitely a single mans type of place, just like the rest of Thailand, unless one is lucky enough to have a girlfriend like mine who enjoys the Go-Go type bar scene as much as me.

Drink prices were on the whole not bad - you get what you pay for. In the average bar with girls, expect to pay minimum 80 baht for a small Singha, or you could sit in Bangla with the row of miserable cheapskate ex-pats in the 50 baht beer bars. Go-Gos with plenty of girls charge 100 upwards - take your pick. There are also the odd rip off joints on Bangla which charge 180 baht to sit outside with a Singha and then a further 10 Baht to have a [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] and get rid of the beer.
Hollywood Disco was interesting - Considering my GF got mistaken for a Thai everywhere we went, here was no exception and she got a free Lady Drink voucher as we all walked in. Music was good, beers were expensive, but the place was full of freelancers all selling their wares. My advice would be to avoid the Barfine routine and go here for a decent girl, if there are any at all, this is the place to find one.

When I am alone, my favourite method of hunting is in the daytime, trying it on with shop girls and waitresses, lining them up for a night out later. Just like the rest of Thailand, Patong did not disappoint in this and I found many willing to chat-me up or give that little 'yes please' look or smile, even when I was with my girl too. On the odd occasion I went out alone, there was no end of offers, and I particularly liked the Family Mart area of the northern seafront near to the Russian Restaurant. Plenty of girls/boys of all types outside, each with a different offer or method of attracting attention, but also including the old 'you like massage' routine too. One to remember was a certain older LadyBoy who stood outside the shop and opened up his handbag to reveal a fair sized strap-on which he then proceeded to demonstrate his BJ skills on, informing everyone it was 'Happy Hour' whilst the ex-pats and wives looked on horrified. Needless to say, I showed no interest, preferring the tiny little 'real' girl next to him with her skinny arse eating the smallest pair of shorts I have ever seen. She wanted 5K Baht ST but dropped to 2K LT after a bit of discussion and when I laughed loud enough for others to understand what was going on. I should have whipped her off to a short time hotel, but thats not my scene, ST for me is usually around 2 days and even though I know my Girlfriend might not mind too much, I didnt think the hotel would put up with that. Maybe next time??

On the whole Patong is vibrant, dirty and expensive. The rest of Phuket was nice to see and maybe better by night, but IMHO there are plenty of better places in LOS to spend my time and baht.
Highlight of the visit was meeting up with UrbanW and hopping the many bars, however we wont be going back to Phuket too soon.

a) Patong is very diverse in its choice of entertainment.

Zacapagold - no experience, with it, but looks pretty intriguing. Of course, also very pricy. Maybe some of the same girls are available as FL? For example, I was struck by the resemblance between the "angel" named Da, and the girl whose photo appears in this report:

No Experience and probably never will have. I simply cannot see the point of using a website like this to 'secure' an adult holiday.
Having paid so much, what if the villa or the girl doesnt meet your expectations - how does one claim a refund just because she didnt ring your bell as required. The website recognises that all will not be compatible and allows you to change your girl, however asks for a period of notice first. In other words you will be stuck with her as long as they want.

Much simpler option, book a decent GF Hotel and get out on the streets and bars, armed with all your ISG Info and if possible a knowlegeable Wingman, find a girl. If compatible, take her for the duration of your stay, and enjoy the time in Phuket.
If it doesnt work out, change girl, hotel or location until it does.
Whatever you do, it will cost significantly less than this 'package'.

There is enough info on ISG for us all to not require 'purpose built package tours' such as this.

There is also the question of 'legality' as this is most definitley organised prostitution in every sense of the word. You will look good in court presented with all the evidence that the site freely offers. Impossible to say you didnt know what you were paying for in this case.

Give it a miss, do it yourself for less and probably much safer.

Just had a fascinating read of the recent reports here...

I'm going to Phuket to holiday with my family shortly. I will almost certainly be kept on a very tight leash, but just supposing I was able to go exploring for a couple of hours, where would be the best place to go? I am much more likely to be able to get out in the morning / mid-day, and I would be looking for a guaranteed good time for an hour. I certainly won't be going out for an evening on my own. Tulips in BKK which opens at 10.30am has been my saviour on more than one occasion... Is there anything similar in Phuket? My plan is to hire a bike to escape from my friend's villa, but not sure of it's exact location yet.

Any thoughts / suggestions gratefully received.

And there you have your answer - Plenty of MPs on almost every street in every town in Phuket. It will be very easy to find one offering exactly what you require and remember to ride home to the family carefully.

Going rate for Full Service in a good main street MP two weeks ago was 800 THB Total, thats 300 for the massage and the rest for 'extras'

Some on Sawatdirak down Beach Road on the top near Jungceylon and whole wedge of them on Kep Sub connecting the Beach Road with Rat Uthit or there's Christins think that opens at 12.

I agree with other brothers on this question. Who needs such a service in Phuket! You can pick-up friendly girls anywhere anytime. Of course, it's a package for suckers!
I checked their package 7 seven days for 2800/2920 $ and made my own calculation if you do everything by yourself
7 days good quality hotel 7*3000= 21000 THB
7 days girl 7*2000 = 14000 THB
Tours around 3000 THB
Airport limousine 1100 THB
Total 38100 THB, which is max 1100 $ Even if you choose more luxury hotel options, the price doesn't compare with 2900 $! During low season, accomodation will cost you half-price from my calculation.
