It happens with all minor and major rental companies. I have both Hertz Gold and Avis Preferred, with all my preferences well set and cleared, depending on the geographical zones of rental (in some countries some of the options are a must, mainly insurance reasons)

Nevertheless some time, when I check-in I browse through the contract to find unwanted.

- additional insurances (at least 2)

- fuel option.
